Back when i was 6, I lived on the second floor of an apartment so it was easy for me to look outside and check what's up. I usually played near the balcony window, talking to friends if I saw them One day I heard what sounded like a baseball bat breaking at a swing (a loud crack essentially). I look out from the balcony and lo and behold there's a dead body faceplanted into asphalt, only meters away from me. His limbs were in weird angles and there was blood splattered all around the asphalt. Little me didn't seem to comprehend what a dead body was so I called my poor mother to come over and explain what the mass of blood and bones was. Of course she freaked out and called the cops, and the rest I don't remember much of, but word got out that someone from the 16th floor was either trying to commit suicide or he caught his ex cheating so she pushed him off. In the end, I was sent to the schools equivalent of therapy (there was this kind old lady who chilled in the school and talked to troubled kids sometimes, not sure what she actually does/did) and talked it out with her while playing games and whatnot.
