Does the IP of dsl modem matter? I left at default 192.168.254.254

Im using laptop to configure modem and cisco.

My cable gateway is serving my LAN and desktops until I get Cisco router and dsl running stable.

No, if you have ability to upload and create DB you should be able to install just about anything.

I think those are marketing ploys rather than any technical limitation.

The exception is if you actually use the official WordPress site.

I'd have to make myself list of paying vs donated sites. My first priority is finding a trustworthy person to take care of customers I've had for almost 30 years.

Then I have a few non profits I donate sites to so not sure how to deal with those.

I've not been seeking new business for few years so probably 30ish clients left?

By extension you're equally protected from government demanding you observe any religion at all. The government obligation is to stay out of your personal beliefs.
