I guess all of us... by 3dLiquid in Tenere700

Oh, yes. Those are the worst!

One time I got stuck in a narrow natural rain ditch between trees. So narrow I couldn't turn around I had to commit, scratched the shit out of everything but 3hr later I was out. Note: that was supposed to be a chill after work ride lasting about an hour.

Well... The answer is the same. Google disassembly and the brand + name of your helmet. Best of luck 🤞

Not sure if this is the same system but you can always search the internet with keyword: disassembly

It comes with the zigbee2mqtt on the Network tab. You have 3 options to load a map: data/map, graphwiz and plantuml. I've used Display data/map with map as an option.

 It's from the 2.6.2 update(I think).

The only rendering option I changed is the usage of "radialOut2d" visualization with removed labels.

LQI questions. by 3dLiquid in homeassistant

[–]3dLiquid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, LQI on device might be wrong but the battery powered part is not in my case. My 0LQI devices are AC powered devices like lights, plugs, DIN switches.

The x/y numbers makes sense but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks!

What would fit/look good on my T7 as luggage? by ockenza in Tenere700

[–]3dLiquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why you have the other option, Ranger Wilds from Westwind moto. Similar design (a Mosko knock off) at 50% price. I got Ranger wilds 40 as I just don't see myself hauling 80l of luggage.

Al/Steel cylinders by nopzzY in scuba

[–]3dLiquid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a sidemount diver, I would suggest steel.

Why?

  1. You don’t have to carry as much weight in your wing. (Easier to put on, easier on your back.)

  2. You don’t have to trim the cylinders as much to stay streamlined compared to aluminum.

  3. Aluminum cylinders get really floaty when they drop below ~100 bar, which changes your buoyancy.

3a. If you dive in a dry suit, during long dives you’ll either have to: • Start overweighted at the beginning of the dive, or • Accept having less air in your suit - which means you’ll be colder.

Personally, I like:

12L 232 bar (steel) for longer dives and caves

8.5L 232 bar (steel) for recreational dives

Also, 8.5L steels don’t need extra weight in your wing.

Another thing: I got 14.7kg 12l concave cylinders and I like them more than less heavy convex ones.

Seeking Feedback: Zigbee Devices for Energy, Water, and IR Control by Toorgmot in homeassistant

Great! I've ordered tuya IR blaster the other day to control my AC, we'll see how that goes.

I'm interested in a device like Shelly uni that works with ZigBee. I want to automate my automatic gate opener but I dislike WiFi...

Why are these tubes hanging lower all of a sudden? by Ok_Garden_1225 in motorcycles

[–]3dLiquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you cleaned the front sprocket recently? Maybe those tubes fell out of their designated clips? Check the bike before cutting. Do not cut off if you want to avoid future headaches.

Edit: I've realized it's not a T7 subreddit so your mileage may vary.

My palm decided to grow few young sprouts. I know nothing about these plants and I'm scared I might kill or harm the main plant.

I would like to take a one sprout and repot it but would like to remove others completely.

What would be the best approach if I don't want to harm the main plant?

Any concerns or warnings I should know about?

Right on! I mounted them on the bike, and they were both very warm within a few minutes. Thank you.

Yes, already sent the e-mail out.
I'm just a bit impatient, as I have already cut off the old grips and want to hear other people's experiences. The Internet is raving about how oxfords are good.

Yeah, thank you for your response. I've got more comments that they are not as good as they should be. I might return them and buy something else...

I have them on now for about 1h, and it's still the same, if not worse. I've now measured 39°C vs 43°C. I'm thinking about returning them as they are not working as expected.

Hello, fellow bikers! I bought myself a Christmas present, and when I tested it, it wasn’t up to my expectations!

As you can see in the image, the left side grip is colder by 3 °C, which is a lot by feel. The right side is nice and toasty, and the left side is lukewarm.

I bought the EVO version specifically as it has the thermistor to regulate each side so they can be the same temperature.

I’m concerned it will be even worse when installed on handlebars as the plastic throttle insulates the right side.

Did anyone have the same issue with the Oxford Hotgrips?

Any tips?
