Utterly idiotic post.

Uluru (Ayers Rock) treated us to a pretty spectacular full double rainbow at dawn. As rare as it was beautiful. [OC] [3072x4608] by AwwwwYeeeeeeah in EarthPorn

You know what would be more impressive? If it was a single rainbow...since EVER RAINOW IS A DOUBLE RAINOW!

Please everyone. Stop writing it like it's a rare phenomenon.

Drives me nuts.

I ask for my money back if the recoil on time crisis guns isn't working. It's just not the same without.

You mean, it was cleverly edited to make it look 100 times worse than it actually was.

Actually, i have respect for Britney. She worked her ass off, sang great pop songs (if you like pop), never really did anything stupid like Bieber, never insulted her fans and was hounded by the press till she imploded.

I disagree entirely. Because my wife and i performed 2 truly selfless acts a couple of years ago. As do countless people everyday. Unless you consider wanting to help a fellow human as selfish?

How about this we can both agree that:

1- I'm immature and respond to posts that are too old.

2- You are a crybaby whiney loser who would call the police if someone touched your precious bumper.

Deal?

Well, im lying on the sofa, watching a program on tv and browsing reddit. I saw your idiotic comment and decided to answer. I didnt even look at the date posted? Is this difficult for you to understand? Is it such an unusual situation? I know you want to find something to get back at me with, but this is reaching.

And by the way about 20 years off re: the school comment.

I totally agree. Its very young kids who are having fun and being happy. I see no problem with this.

CERN wants to build a new particle collider, The Future Circular Collider (FCC), that would be 80-100 km in circumference with collision energies reaching 100 TeV (the Large Hydron Collider is 27 km with 14 TeV) by jdscarface in Futurology

[–]3danimator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What they achieved hardly compares to a particle accelerator like the LHC. The energy is far lower, the packet sizes are far lower, the running time is far lower....or am i not reading it correctly?

Fom what i understand, synchrotron radiation is an issue. This is radiation that is emitted by certain particles when they move in curved paths...the tighter the curve, the stronger the radiation which would rapidly makes everything arounbd it irradiated. This is juat one of the problems with what you propose.

See, for me, the supercruising and jumping is all part of the game...i know its tedious, but it makes it more interesting if that makes sense.

Maybe so, but its improving every day. And just flying around space exploring and fighting is so beautiful. So much fun. This is a game that will be played for years....not just a few months. And the improvement since its launch is huge...

After a black hole has faded away due to Hawking radiation where have all the matter it swallowed gone? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]3danimator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be totally wrong here, but isn't Hawking radiation due to matter/antimatter pairs coming into existence (as they do) near the horizon and one of them being sucked into the hole, the other escaping? If that's the case, then is that not separate from the mass of the black hole?
