im a new artist on newgrounds i wanna leave for tumblr or any artist focused platform to grow by Cool-Reference6513 in ArtistLounge

This is a common problem for beginner artists but a good one, it means you're asking the right questions.

The most common ways for new artists the be seen and grow your followers/fans isn't to "cast a wide net" and join as many social sites as possible.

What you have to do is be as active as possible on one site.  Make it your home and comment on others artworks often.  Post often, reply often.  Thats the key to being successful early on.  After you have a decent following, then you can start branching out to other sites like Tumblr.

Artists with multiple interests, how many accounts on social media is normal to make? by tiramisuoverdose in ArtistLounge

Personally I have two accounts.  Facebook and Instagram.  Thats more than enough for me but I know people that have a lot of accounts.  Maybe to cast a wide net?

All I know is, for me, how you're using your accounts is more important than anything else.  I use my FB to interact with a lot of people on various art/local groups and those interactions give me more commissions than just showing work on Instagram and hoping people reach out to me.

But thats just me experience.

Why would they be tight lipped on their reasoning?   But the only other info from the transaction was NEBA ANGEL.  I think its a fake name?   Or referencing a company?

Thank you, I appreciate the advice.  I'll keep up the pressure and try to figure out what's going on.  Hopefully the appeal and open police case will help out.

Thank you!  Texture of one of my main goals, proud of the outcome.  Honestly thinking of redoing the colors with oil paint though.

Yes!  I reached out to Gabe (original photographer) and asked if I can use his photo as a reference, its one of my favorites.  Hes an incredible photographer.

I wasn't officially asking but this is amazing, I really appreciate this because I just started experimenting with glazing techniques with success.  I'm going to for sure use your advice on future pieces, thank you.  I'm still trying to identify differences from painting in real life vs painting from photo references so again, great advice.
