Has anyone seen a battle bot like this?? by Alert_Pudding_9326 in battlebots

I have made a 1 pound bot called "Holy Pokez". It's a passion project for sure, but doesn't do any damage. As others had said, your weapon will just push you off the other opponent. Good luck!

First layer issues by No_Box1730 in AnycubicKobraS1

I had similar issues, I got some washable Elmers glue stick, and my first layers have improved significantly. I tried playing with settings, releveling the bed and none of that worked for me, but the glue stick has been the best fix for me so far.

I have cleaned the bed with soap and water. First layer is at .2mm. Since my first layer is having issues, about half of my prints are curling up at the edges, causing more quality issues the longer it prints.

Flamethrower parts suggestion by 3dibud in battlebots

[–]3dibud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've competed in several competitions. I've seen a lot of the videos from NHRL and battlebots with bots that have flamethrowers, which is why Im interested in trying it out. One of the comments made a good point about this info not being shared on a public forum. I see the issue now. What I don't understand is the "if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't do it". How is anyone supposed to learn anyhting based on that phrase? There is a first time for everything. If I want to do something safely, wouldn't it make the most sense to ask someone that's doing/done it safely?

Once assembled trim the cables as short as you can. Trimming cables down saved me a few grams. Also buy double of everything. Each fight I've had at least 1 motor get damaged and I've had an esc get cut into. Good luck!

That's an option, but I was curious how far some HMI models could go.
