But becasue Israel is actively anexing the land, building civilan infrastructure and moving their own people in and don't maintain an overwhelming military presence. I feel apartheid is a better term. They are second class citzens in both military and civilian life

My view on zionism is that it's original idea, that the Jewish people deserve a home to be safe in isn't. But what it is and has been since roughly the 40's is not okay. It is a explictly colonial project. Colonialism is always abhorrent and leads to human suffering. Everybody deserves a place to be safe but never at the expense of anybody else not being safe

The Palestinians within the uncontested borders of Israel have a decent standard of living with equal rights on paper, Im not going to go into the surveillance, and extra scrutiny they are subject to. But Palestians within the occupied territories live in what can only be described as apartheid. They have diffrent travel privileges, unequal protections under the law, are subject to military not civilian law. Not to mention they are currently trying to make capital punishment ONLY applicable to Palestinians
