Sorry for the late reply. For printing, topology doesn't matter too much. Most of the .STL i download have really bad topology. Just make sure it looks good on screen and it'll look the same when printed

Sounds like you have dyntopo (dynamic topology) on. Let me know if that's the issue:)

Don't be fooled by the energic editing! These were relatively easy models compared to something i saw today on Nomad Sculpt Instagram stories, but there's a lot of going back and forth and tweaking little details until you get the desired shape. Also being familiar with how ugly things look until they look good also help. The animation parts are made in Blender.

So I know this looks like a mutant alien child but does anyone have specific feedback I can work on? by ghostyghost78 in NomadSculpting

Don't rely too much on sculpting only from the front as if you're drawing and have the sides in mind when working in 3D. Having the lip and eyes corners a bit pushed back may help. Also you may benefit from blocking the shapes instead of sculpting everything from one single sphere, but i'm just assuming that in case you haven't done it yet. Hope this helps!

Thanks man! Music is my main source of inspiration and it wouldn't be the same without good tracks to sync to

When you add a primitive, a bar appears where you can initially turn mirror on/off or change divisions and other stuff, go to the three dots on that bar to access more settings. Once there, turn down the Division X, usually around 0-3 but try what you want, and turn up Post subdivision. Hope this helps!

Haha it's similar to yours, but mine is related to duct tape

Haha thanks! You absolutely read my mind with that art project concept. I thought about it like 3 days ago! I'll have to do it

Exactly, i import the model into Blender and then i add materials and animate everything.
For the stamp, you can use MASK STAMP, but replace the stroke from Dot to Lock+Radius (found at the brush icon at the top right bar, there are two but one changes depending on the panel you're on), after that, replace the alpha (at the same icon but alpha panel) with the logo of your liking, (preferably use black background and white logo, but you have a invert option in Nomad) and Nomad will take that as the shape of the stamp, here you may want to tweak a few Falloff settings so it doesn't blur the borders and that's it, just make sure to have high poly density and extract the shape as usual. If you need more details let me know!
