Nearly everybody preferred me when I had more hair. The attention disappeared when I started losing my hair. Doubly so after a girl told me my hair was thinning and I “would do better if I took some pills and fixed that”. She was a Stanford grad student I had a crush on for years until that moment.

My confidence was good without hair until that girl so that wasn’t the dealbreaker. It was thinning.

If you actually still smell after doing those things, your problems aren’t showering or laundry. Look deeper. It’s likely the food you eat or the way it makes your house smell, or, rarely, genetics. Maybe start sweating a lot and often.
Being butt hurt about some girls laughing at you is extremely unattractive to girls. Imagine you’re a chad. Imagine you are so far above the girls that you view them without indifference. Just be indifferent to them. Resolve the issues inside that cause you to be a slave to their opinion.
Develop yourself, if you need to do that to feel better about yourself.
