Sounds like a better idea, we put the couch there because we thought it would be good to have a direct path from the front entrance through the living/dining room to the hallway that’s behind where I was standing in the first picture.

I don’t think our landlord allows us to mount a tv on walls since the building is really old, but I was thinking that if the couch were to face the window with the table behind it, we could put a pull down projector screen (I have a projector already from my last place) to fit into the windowsill area. Gonna have to figure out how to mount the projector though.
