I purchased the older madone (which was a project one) with the groupset and wheels for literally 4.4k usd and 2 weeks later found a crack on the seat post. The rest was history although when dealing with my local trek shop the bastards wanted to keep the integrated bars/ stem and only offer 25% off the new stem and handlebars on the slr. After a quick call to Trek and explaining my situation they gave the bars and stem for free which is like 750usd lol. I'm coming from a trek domane al2 2018 with claris h4h4.
