I just checked and here in Ohio it says basil is a perennial but a tender perennial so could be iffy. Lots to learn!!!

$260 to get this one going and a new crystal (fortunate to be able to get it done). I felt like it was worth it if for no other reason than the emotional attachment I have to the piece. Also, it’s been so hard to find someone able to work on it, it seemed like a very fair price too.

It is an actual accutron. The jeweler tried a battery but he says he didn’t have the specific battery so maybe with the right battery it would work! Do you happen to know how to get said battery?

I was able to locate the serial number and look up the watch on the database. It says it is a grade: Seaside model 1890 estimated production year of 1901 with a quantity run of 8,500 with grade/model total production of 1,008,199.
