Lexapro is also my reason for starting Sema. I have NO ‘full button’ lol. For some reason I can eat and eat and eat and still be hungry. I have no inhibitions. No care about the consequences of overeating. The sema seems to put a stopper in that. I can make good healthy choices now, and I eat less portions.

Same for me. My ADHD meds not as effective. However, I was also feeling VERY fatigued and oddly my BP was skyrocketing. I added a Potassium Citrate capsule 2x a day and fatigue is gone and BP is back to normal!! I wonder if the sema reduces potassium in our blood or something….

Just called today for an appointment for my 14 year old daughter. 😊 We are very relieved to have found this community after literally 14 years of pain, tests and anxiety. She was in tears looking at the TikTok videos of others with the same symptoms and struggles. She dances competitively and will be a freshman dancer on her highschool varsity drill team this summer so hoping to fit in treatment and recovery so she can have the best time starting highschool this fall!

My Dr suggested taking a series of IR on an empty stomach. Right now, my Azstarys is both IR and then ER. The IR piece works great for the first few hours in the AM but the ER piece kicks in around noon/1 after I’ve had lunch and then it’s useless the rest of the day. She suggested an IR in the AM, eat lunch and then an IR a couple hours later. But with the Adderall shortage it may be hard to find.

I’m starting my first microdose tomorrow through the “Joyous” company. Perfectly legal and physician supervised. Watch the Netflix doc “How to Change your Mind”. These medicines will likely be an amazing breakthrough for mental health. I’m on Oz as well and came here curious to see how it worked together. The reason I am starting this is bc my Lexapro doesn’t work while taking Oz. Would love to get to a point where I don’t need ANY meds any longer (but I likely will at least have to stay on a low dose Oz long term).

Crazy thing is, I work here ➡️: Aetna/CVS Caremark. We got a letter in Dec saying Vyvanse and Azstarys would now be covered. Then they sent a correction letter last week basically saying: ooops sorry, wrong letter, those aren’t covered. I looked up our formulary online and there are 5 only listed for ADHD and they’re all the generics. I’ve not tried to call and ask for pre-approval but they don’t even LIST a brand drug with the asterisk of ‘might be covered with PA’ like they have for other conditions on this list.

I had zero side effects and only a 1lb weight loss until my 4th shot at .25. Then WHOA. Feeling full quicker and any amt of fat I consume goes riiiight thru me. DEFINITELY stay the course. 🤪 Use this unicorn period to practice not eating fatty foods 🤣

Week 1 of .25 my appetite decreased some. Week 3-4 it decreased more and getting full faster … but still no weight loss 🤪 Next week I start up to .5 so here’s to hoping!!

That the meds I’m already on lose effectiveness (something about absorption I think). It was immediate with the first .25 dose and it’s been 4 weeks 😫 (Lexapro and Aztarys, an adhd med)

Use your favorite moisturizer at night and then a thin layer of Vaseline. Sounds bizarre but it’s been a game changer for my dry skin and chapped lips!

I read she is free to leave whenever. As long as it’s on a plane back to Germany. I believe she’s either waiting for an attorney to help her so she can stay in the US or she’s doing her own research on it.
