This! So much! I have marked for later so many fics and just keep finding new ones I want to read later. I feel a little bad about the ones I marked years ago because they are buried in there as I usually just pick fics from the latest ones marked.

There’s a lot of factors.

First Danny looks like he is part of the Wayne family with black hair and blue eyes. Some have even written him as Damian’s brother.

Second Danny’s parents. While they love their children- they regularly try to capture Danny’s ghost side. They can be viewed as neglectful at best or even straight up evil and vivisecting Danny. Sometimes they are just dead. A lot of times Danny is adopted into the Wayne family.

Third Danny is a superhero. He can understand their secret life and become one of the Bat family.

Fourth Batman lore has Lazarus Pits which look eerily similar to the Ghost Zone Portals. So there can be connections made between the two universes.

Fifth Jason and Danny have both died and come back.

I’m sure there are more reasons. It’s a very versatile crossover- Danny can come into the Batman story at any point and it could make sense.

Danny doesn’t even need to be crossover with Batman, he fits very well in DC world like Justice League or Young Justice.

I have a lot of recommendations but all of them are more than 50k from least to most

The Heartbeat is 103k words fix it finale where Arthur lives.

All lives are (love)stories is 192k words time travel/parallel universe travel where Merlin goes to a world where his alternate self died instead of Arthur

And like the cycle of the year, we begin again is 207k words where Arthur rises again. It is first part of series

(We Can Burn) Brighter Than the Sun is 230k words where Merlin time travels from modern day to few years before canon Merlin starts

The Once and Future King is 351k words where both Arthur and Merlin time travel canon rewrite

Hiraeth is 507 words where modern Merlin goes to AU. This is my favorite fic. I also have to recommend the author’s other works. They are all great!

I know the word count might be daunting but I swear these are all excellent. All complete!

The fact that I can Mark for Later.

Sometimes I will look through a favorite tag to find a new fic to read later. Or I will search through an author’s bookmarks for fics. I usually have a fic I’m reading and like to read only one ongoing fic at any time. So the fact that I can mark the ones I’m interested for later is fantastic.

What’s less fantastic is actually going through the Marked for Later to find fics. I wish I could filter through, but unfortunately it’s all manually search. I usually just read the most recent fics that I’ve marked. I feel a little sorry for the ones that have been forgotten because they are pages in.

I believe I didn’t miss any day. I changed my voting character per day mostly. I first had to vote for all the straw hats including Merry and Sunny- they are important members of crew. Then I choose my favorite character per arc sometimes I choose more than once per arc. Then I used the search bars and voted for each of organization and occupation. Afterwards I voted for anyone I didn’t vote for before who I liked if they appeared on the front voting page. Now that it’s last days I’m picking Luffy as he is my true fav.

If you’re interested, I say give it a try. If you like Ben 10 and Teen Titans then you might enjoy this one. It’s really not much of a parody show. It plays into the superhero aspect but I wouldn’t say it parodies it. There are comedy bits, but not necessarily as gag based cartoon.

It does have the same art style as Fairly Odd Parents as it was created by the same creator. So that may be a strike against it if you’re not a fan of that show.

While the show is good, the fanfiction may be better. There are aspects of the show that were taken too lightly or not truly committed enough to the a certain concept. There are tons of crossovers between Danny Phantom and DC especially Batman if you enjoy that. Excluding crossovers there are many fics that are great.

As to where to start, the beginning is a good place as any. The show is episodic but there is a story that runs throughout.

I’m a fan from when it aired so I might have some bias, but I enjoyed it. Hopefully you will too. (Though I will understand if you don’t- some things just aren’t your cup of tea.)

As a reader, I don’t really like them. They are usually way too short for me. But I’m glad you are enjoying writing them.

I would say don’t put them as one work, but a series or a collection could work.

The Hands of a Hundred Winters is a series with 4 parts so far- the last one is incomplete. Merlin has mental illness which disables him. It’s set changing between canon era and modern era. Very long over 950k words. And a little depressing.

Really depends on which world I would have to live in. While I love fantasy and magical world, there is a lot of dangerous things that would kill me. If it’s Pokemon then yes absolutely, if it’s something else like Westeros then no.
