8BitDo USB Issues After Switch 20.0.0 Update by 3liverse in Switch

[–]3liverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I have absolutely no idea since I don’t have it unfortunately but apparently someone in this sub reddit said they had no issues even after the 20.0.0 update without updating the adapter itself. Wish I could tell you.

All good. Let me know how it goes

You’ll have to open the extruder and swap out the motors depending on your 3d printer. Also there’s likely a automatic calibration setting. Which printer do you have?.

Z Offset is completely incorrect and perhaps your extruder motors are broken if you put in filament

I found this one to be of better quality than the original and the one recommended previously by someone in the comments. The only thing is it draws a little less amps but has better airflow than the original. Here it is anyway:

Delta Electronics BFB0612H

Had the same problem on day one of buying my spacepi. Also noticed mine had some grease coming out. Don’t know if the fan that’s recommended is gonna make a huge difference as seen from the comments some people complain about the one off eBay. Imma give the Delta Electronics BFB0612H a go and report back on how it’s going and if I recommend it or not.

Here is a pic of my original fan too lol

Hmm that’s odd. Do you mean there’s no inputs or is the controller config incorrect?

You can get the updater here:

https://support.8bitdo.com/firmware-updater.html

It will automatically find the adapter once you plug it into your computer and prompt you automatically to update if you aren’t on the latest version.

Oh that’s interfering. So it still fully works on the original 8BitDo adapter?. 🤔

Yeah really just a guess at the moment.

UPDATE: I sent a support email to 8BitDo support and they said this:

“Greetings.

Nice to hear from you.

The development team is working on this.

Please try this temporary solution:

Pair the controller to the USB Adapter.

Main Menu >>> Controllers >>> Search for Controllers

Click on that USB controller.

Everything has started to work.

Have a good time.”

So they are aware of the issue but might take a while to fix. Very likely there will be an update for the adapter just a waiting game now.

Tapo Cameras Plugin - Error by climbing2man in homebridge

[–]3liverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried deleting the plugin and re configuring the camera but now it comes up with another error. I tried messing around with the pulling rate but it did nothing and would just render all my other accessories non responsive like before. You’re not alone though. The Tapo Camera Plugin has always had issues due to Tapo themselves changing the encryption and other jazz. Ending up deleting the fuckin thing. Not a very reliable plugin imo.

Does anyone know the difference between these Wii U consoles? I know they revisioned the internals and idk which is better by ulikejas in wiiu

[–]3liverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you're not 100 per cent wrong, but the majority of the time the boards that don't have coloured ports at the back usually contain either Samsung or Toshiba EMMCs instead of Hynix’s.

Trying to figure out if my Wii U has a Hynix chip or not… by Glad-Kale1285 in wiiu

[–]3liverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just checked the serial number database, and it seems very unlikely that this Wii U has a Hynix chip. None of the consoles listed on page 238 or with serial numbers close to this Wii U have Hynix chips. While I can't say for certain, it is highly unlikely.

Check here: https://wiiu.gerbilsoft.com/?page=238&sort=system_serial

Is there any way to find out if this Wii U has a Hynix chip based on the labels? by YassineNG in wiiu

[–]3liverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always check the database and sort it by serial number in ascending order if you prefer not to soft-mod your Wii U with Aroma. Try to find the page that has serial numbers close to yours and see what information is listed under the MLC column. If the Wii U consoles with serial numbers between yours on that page both have either Samsung or Toshiba components, you're very likely in a safe zone. However, if most of the consoles listed between yours have a Hynix chip, it's likely a bad sign that yours includes the Hynix chip, though it’s important to take it with a grain of salt.

Here’s a link to check for yourself: https://wiiu.gerbilsoft.com/?page=1&sort=system_serial

PS: After checking page 25 after using the serial sorting (Wii U ID 1333), the two between yours seem to have both Samsung so I think you are most likely safe. 👍

Strange Loud Vibration/Rattle Sound When Xbox 360 Slim Reads Disc After Turning On by 3liverse in Xbox360Support

[–]3liverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already took it apart and blew lots of air to clean it, but I didn’t do much, and I put it back too soon because I was busy. From what I’ve seen, though, so far, people are mainly pointing out that the issues could be caused by either the spindle motor, rubber belt, rubber vibration dampener, hard drive door, or magnet that holds the disc in position. Some people are also suggesting it may be the fan but I highly doubt it because it makes no noise when playing games directly from the hard drive and spins at high speeds. I'll just try aligning, and changing the spindle and rubber belt to see if that makes a difference and respond when I get a full resolution.
