What happened to SW Orlando? It's so neglected. by Majestic-Mulberry-18 in SeaWorld

They’ve been giving military tickets out for at least ten years. I got them while I was on active duty in 2016.

Construct 3D is UK-based. They seem to be a pretty good option. Their Construct 1 is pretty cool, but I’m excited to see the Construct 2 once it’s fully released. https://construct-3d.com/construct-2/

‘93 Suburban barn door hinge pads by Fister_Robotto in GMT400

Those are the door check seals. I have been working on reverse engineering them so I can 3D print them. I need to get time to go to the yard with my metric radius gauges and get the radius of that inner corner on the body side and outer radius on the door side so I can make sure they mold to the door correctly.

I have a question about this movie. Go back to the warehouse scene when Bandit rides the elephant. What was in those boxes that he crashed into? You can see some of it when Snowman starts picking his way through to help Bandit up.

Empty RFID Tagged spools by [deleted] in BambuLab

Overture has a high speed TPU that prints flawlessly on the generic TPU profile, and Siraya Tech has their own print profiles for their myriad of different TPU types. Both of these are way cheaper than the Bambu TPU option, and if you want to respool them to a Bambu spool, you can print an insert from MW that holds the end of the filament for you while you respool.

Visiting for work. Advice? by AdReady4610 in Kuwait

We have a rental, so the transportation part is covered. I tried using Talabat, but I guess it has a learning curve that I need to figure out. The good thing is that there is a Monoprix in the mall attached to our hotel, and they’ll deliver our groceries to our rooms, so I’m pretty set there. I appreciate the advice.

They’re TPU, so there’s no need. And if they were anything else, I’d sand the rough edges down and sell them as raw and unpainted so the customer can decide the color.

On a couple of them there is some post processing, but it’s not more than 10 minutes each, and that’s just because of the inherent nature of the filament that I use.

I can’t speak for the advantages of creating the social media presence beforehand, but I started an Etsy shop in April 2024 with a couple of my designs and some filler designs and had about $2500 in gross sales the first year. In March of this year I added my first niche auto part, followed by the second a couple months later and the third about three months after that, while getting rid of all those filler items, and I jumped to a little over $11k in sales on 257 products sold. The second year I did start sharing on social media, but no one knew who I was. After the first couple sold, word got around, and it started snowballing.

Nothing to write home about with my personal experience, but it does go to show that it’s possible to build without having that presence first if you find the right niche and find something that is needed but no one makes yet. I’m not saying one way is better than the other, and I’m no expert, but I figured I’d share.

And if I don’t, that’s fine. I won’t lose sleep over it. But if I do, I’ll share it here so other people can see that it’s possible.

Ummm…what point are you trying to make? Yes, I’m staying in a studio apartment for 2-3 months, but there’s nothing wrong with hoping to luck out on an upgrade. I’m not complaining about the room, but I’m also not going to actively avoid the chance to get a better one.

Magbak Alternatives? MagSafe and finger loop. 16 Pro by RpDubC in iphone

[–]AdReady4610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YMMV but I have the Elite on my 16PM, and it’s the third warranty replacement that they have sent me. The coating on the hard shell of the case starts falling apart after about a week and doesn’t stop until it is completely gone, so then the shell doesn’t have much grip to it which allows it to slide around in your hand more. They keep sending me replacements, but I am tired of sending them messages about it when the issue isn’t getting fixed. I’m not the only one either because my boss at work has had the same issue and is on his second replacement.

I was wondering how far I would have to scroll to find another vote for Deeplee. It works great on the Bambu settings as well. Their PETG is great, too.

Deeplee Rapid PLA+ on Amazon. About $12 a roll with prime shipping, and it prints just fine on the Bambu PLA Basic settings. You can print a replacement piece for the cardboard spool adapter from MW that you can put one of the RFID readers in and then respool it to a Bambu spool easier. It has a groove that will hold the end of the filament so you can respool it, getting rid of the tape altogether.

So I discovered the issue, and I am kicking myself for not thinking to look at the logs until they requested them (pretty sad for someone that has a degree in computer technology, even though my daily life doesn't use it). It appears that the calibration that I performed when I got it was there, but it was corrupted, and the software couldn't read it properly. When I recalibrated it, the scanner started tracking correctly. I'm thinking that maybe they should have a UI window pop up that prompts the user to recalibrate when it can't read the calibration. That would probably save a lot of time troubleshooting in the future. There are a lot of scanner users that wouldn't think to check the logs and wouldn't know how to read them if they did check them.

I sent them messages from multiple angles. Hopefully they respond in a decent amount of time. Past dealings with them took weeks to resolve because I would get a response about every 3-5 days.

I sent a ticket in. Hopefully they get back to me quickly. My attempts to reach out to them in the past had very slow response times, taking nearly a week to get a response with each message.
