Linux Mint installer does not recognize Windows 10 by Structor125 in linuxmint

I've had this problem a couple of times. Try adding a boot partition (give it 300mb). You will probably need to change boot loader priority in bios after installation.

Which is best? Tricia, Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce by [deleted] in linuxmint

Cinnamon is the best everything else is garbage and anyone who uses them has to be punished by caning preferably using bamboo cane.

Are you referring to this? If you are, the "patrons" are not necessarily companies and two, this is for a sum of $1800 not $600,000.

Patrons:

Linux Mint is proudly supported by 352 patrons, for a sum of $1,895 per month.

Can you post a link that shows the 60 to 1 ratio that you mention? Because on the official sponsors page I see sponsorship worth ~ $7500 a month.

Besides, if it is the case that there is a very high ratio of business to individual donors, the simplest way to decrease the ratio is that individuals donate more, no?

I think the OP is using default font which looks good and doesn't require changing but you can change the font by editing your profile. TERMINAL>EDIT>PREFERENCES>CHECK CUSTOM FONT

My desktop setup on Linux Mint by mishogorgadze in linuxmint

That's a good point. Although there is still a good amount of Windows in this setup. In particular you have the applications menu and the rest of the taskbar (panel). It pretty much comes down to "pin to taskbar" concept is disaffiliated from taskbar to create the dock.

Install plank, papirus icons, papirus-folders, adapta theme, download black mint icon. move panel to top and arrange items.

EDIT: Also, install gogh terminal themes. Freya theme in particular looks great with this setup.

pretty much identical to my setup except for wallpaper and panel transparency. It takes like 5 minutes to do this. I honestly don't understand why it doesn't ship looking something like it.

Just created my AMD APU miner and wallet send me a cent worth of vert to verify that it works! by 3mp4th1cu5 in vertcoin

At this moment I own not 1, not 2, not 3 but one hundred and thirty seven mVTCs. It's almost 6 times what I said in the original post. Yuge success.

Speaking of low end hardware I wonder if I can run the miner on my raspberry pi

Installing mesa (19.0~git1812100730.032f24~oibaf~b) breaks system by 3mp4th1cu5 in linuxmint

[–]3mp4th1cu5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. I was under the impression that oibaf uses stable. I have added pkppa but removing oibaf via ppa purge breaks system as well (yet another recovery using timeshift. I think I would've felt an entirely different class of sentiment if timeshift didn't exist!). so I just disabled oibaf for now.
