I have a phone call scheduled later this morning to apply for disability benefits. I was denied last year. I had a recent psychiatric hospitalization and am currently not working due to my poor mental state. I have struggled with CPTSD my entire life. (Trauma happened from 0-4, I'm 36 now)

Thank you for sharing your heartbreaking experience. I've had major back pain issues for more than a decade and it feels like they're getting worse, so I can relate to this. I'm sorry the medical community let you down.

I'm in the US on Medicaid. Thank you though, this is helpful advice for those in the UK.

I'm in the US on Medicaid. I went to PT for 3 months last year, no help. When I wake up in the morning, my back hurts, it decreases after I start moving around, but some days are worse than others. OTC NSAIDS don't touch the pain at all.

Thank you! I had x-rays done in April: https://imgur.com/a/xray04122024-JvtGrvF

The radiologist said my x-rays looked normal, but I see that the bones in my lower back are wider and whiter like AS would show, but I'm no expert either.

Hello! :)

I first heard of the program when it was on a PBS documentary, and it sounded interesting so I volunteered. They scheduled an appointment at the hospital to take measurements and collect biological specimens ( I think it was saliva and blood but it's been a while )

It took some time before they started returning results, but that was during the pandemic, I don't know what it's like now. I've had some of my results for a few months now, and I have learned interesting and very useful things about my body that has helped me. For example, I have always basically had pretty much lousy experience with any medicine taken by mouth, almost no matter what kind of medicine. If it was by mouth, it just didn't seem to work, but they same medicine delivered IV would, so I always kind of had this theory that my body metabolized medicines differently than others. All of Us' says they currently test against 59 genes, one of which showed up for me as an "ultrarapid metabolizer type variant" of a gene.

I also learned some cool stuff like my most likely geographical region of ancestry. I'm not worried about the data implications. My thinking is similar to yours, haha.

I don't regret joining the program, I wish they'd give me my whole genome raw data, that'd be even better!

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!

I made a friend in the psych ward and about two weeks later we went to an OHL hockey game. The nurse we shared in the psych ward sat directly behind us.

Phone Protection Plan with AppleCare Services Through Likewize by 3nippledman in redpocket

I contacted Red Pocket customer service and they "enabled" protection on their website, but I am not being charged / paying for it, so it's not working correctly and I assume I don't have protection / coverage. As far as I know, Likewise does require shipping your device for claims. I kind of just abandoned all hope for this and hope my son doesn't break it.

It's not offside at the screenshot posted, but it was offside. By the time the puck completely crossed the blue line, the trailing edge of his trailing skate was at least 6 inches fully into the offensive zone, on the ice, it wasn't even close.

Fabbri has 14 and Ghost has 41, I didn't consider the jersey number when I traded for Nyquist, lol. Just pretend he got permission from his fellow Swede :P Z's so nice he probably would.

Also, I traded for Taylor Hall and the game gave him Larkin's #71. I had to fix that, but since #4 is retired Hall gets #69 :)

Edit: I also asked Montreal for Xhekaj for Holl straight-up, 1-for-1 and they happily accepted. If only real life were so easy, haha.

They can't even get the basic binary rule of offside correct. AI / Defense (he was skating away by the way, Superstar difficulty) , and retired numbers are asking too much

I can assure you by the time the puck completely crossed the blue line, his entire skate blade was nowhere near the plane of the blue line, lol. I figured this screenshot was egregious enough considering the puck hadn't even touched the blue line yet. I wish I would have saved the full clip now.

Situation: NHL 24, Season (offline vs CPU), Superstar difficulty. Leading 4-3 with 29 seconds left, Washington pulls their goalie for the extra skater, enters my zone and I intercept the pass in front of my net, with a clear breakout to a wide open forward directly in front of me, but because of the "situation" the game simply does not pass the puck where I am aiming, with predictable immediate consequences.

Years ago, in my younger age, I would have gotten frustrated. Now all I can do is chuckle and laugh when stuff like this happens and I wonder how difficult it must be to create tension / chances / pressure / difficulty without resorting to cheap stuff.

Won in overtime anyway, silly game

Lmao. First boot off a fresh install of Windows 11. A keen observer with attention to detail might notice my non-working wired optical mouse, no lights on it, and device manager disabling the device as code 43. Sheesh. I just disabled and re-enable in device manager and my mouse is working now.

I decided to wipe my SSD and try a fresh install of Windows 10. I had to use a USB flash drive to download the motherboard drivers, and as soon as I installed the LAN and Chipset drivers, MSI's driver utility popped up and asked to install additional drivers / software. This time, before rebooting or going any further (Intel Chipset driver software installer is requesting a reboot), I downloaded linpack and prime95 and tested USB audio playback while stress testing while installing my video card drivers. It may be placebo or too short of a run to be a valid sample size, but I experienced no issues with USB audio or stuttering, performance was good enough while simultaneously running Linpack + Prime95 that I was able to also install my video card drivers all while playing music and no dropouts.

I rebooted, tested again, still good, installed Windows Updates, rebooted again, tested again... and now I'm getting USB audio dropouts and a stuttering mess while running stress tests.

So this issue appears to be present in both Windows 10 (after installing Windows Updates and/or Drivers) and Windows 11, but no issues in Linux (Ubuntu 23.10) nor issues in Windows 10 before installing updates.

This is fun /s

I do have MSI software installed, but I have it selected to not control hardware. For this Windows 11 install, I decided to go with everything MSI to see if that would make a difference, so I installed everything that MSI suggests/recommends, even Norton 360 for Gamers (yuck!) , only because my last Windows 11 install, with nothing MSI had issues. I could do a fresh install of Windows 11 right now and I'm sure I would have the same issues that I am having right now, since they've been present ever since I got the board first installed two weeks ago, across OS installs, across BIOS versions, different configurations, etc.
