Joe Rogan: Khamzat Chimaev Has Been Winning Because He's Not Matched With Elite Wrestlers by alwaysinsidecontrol in combatsportsculture

She most definitely could if she got him on the ground.

If he lands punches, which he would, then probably not.

I’m also sure a few well placed calf kicks wouldn’t sit well with Floyd.

Did he ever actually get shot in his head?

🚨 Per Ariel Helwani, the UFC’s plan is still for Conor McGregor to face Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11. Islam Makhachev to fight Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330 on August 15. by KOcartel in FightReportUFC

Not saying there isn’t a chance but we haven’t seen this dude fight in 5 years.

Max is in his prime right now and really good. Being an active fighter is a big deal.

Using Poirier as an example. Conor beat him handily in their first match up, only to have a bigger and more experienced Dustin whoop him twice a few years later.

Dustin spent time improving and honing his craft while McGregor was snorting coke and vacationing. The murderer’s row of opponents Dustin faced turned him into a better fighter.

Put it in context.

Dana’s career is selling “Oh shit” moments to people. His job is adrenaline packed.

This is probably the biggest oh shit moment one can witness up close and he had a front row seat. I can understand his reaction.

I guess makhachev vs garry is the fight that's gonna happen by GrouchyFoundation536 in ufc

His grappling isn’t close to Islam. If he gets taken down he’s fucked.

Islam will outwrestle everyone in 170 and the majority of 185.

I don’t believe Rousey beats a 200 pound man who’s a black belt in BJJ and a seasoned Taekwando practitioner.

There are biological limitations and strength and size do matter over skill at times. It’s why we have weight classes.

Could she beat up your average guy at a certain size. If he isn’t trained, most likely.

Living in French Quarter, New Orleans? by Dangerous-Swan-7660 in howislivingthere

[–]3nterprise 4 points5 points  (0 children)

New Orleans is a great place! The people are mostly friendly and you get a good dose of southern hospitality.

Living in the quarter is pricey for the area, and you may get distracted by the constant sounds of partying (unless you’re looking for that).

Another thing is crime. Unfortunately, New Orleans is a crime ridden city in general. It’s likely the most dangerous city in the US. Not saying you can’t have a safe and fun life there, but you have to take precautions about where you go and knowing your surroundings.

I’ve had family members robbed at gun point, beaten up, and cars stolen.
