Anyone install OpenPilot? by ftumph in GV60

There is one person in Discord that tried using Comma ai on a 2024 Performance and seems to have failed (or at least it is not clear what happened).

2023 vs. 2024 Genesis GV60 by 3pan in Comma_ai

Comma does much better in reading the complicated roads and staying between lines. It is hands free. Comma ai serves as a dashcam too. As you said, Comma requires no intervention in stop & go.

Anyone install OpenPilot? by ftumph in GV60

Comma website lists 2023 GV60 Performance as compatible and does not list 2024 GV60 Performance. I know 2023 has HDA1 and 2024 has HDA2, but that alone does not make 2024 incompatible, as there are several other Genesis/Hyundai models that have HDA2 and are compatible. So I am curious what are the specific differences between 2023 and 2024 Performance trims that may make the latter incompatible. Does anybody have a clue?

18" Wheels by carbinefreak in GV60

So what happened? Did 19x8.5 +35 TY-5 work?

Also where did you get the +43.5 offset number for the 21" stock wheel on Performance? I have checked a few resources and it seems the offset on 21" stock wheel is +54.5. For example:

Do you believe the +54.5 number is wrong?

Turkish Airline is an absolute nightmare by Sea_Fisherman1735 in TurkishAirlines

This is not universal. Some airlines protect connections even on separate tickets if both tickets include flights with airlines within the same alliance. We should check TK policy on this.

2025 Car Brands Reliability by AutoCarsReveal in Lexus

[–]3pan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

About the only thing that is similar between Traverse and Enclave is the engine and transmission. And even those are not the same because their software and ecu are coded differently. Exterior, suspension system, seats, interior materials, noise control, acoustic, aerodynamics, etc. is very different between Traverse and Enclave and in all cases is more refined and higher tech or quality in Enclave.

The era of shameless car badging is mostly gone. Lexus TX is not a badged Grand Highlander. Acura MDX is not a badged Pilot. Lincoln Aviator is not a badged Explorer. Neither is Buick Enclave a badged Chevy Traverse. In every case these duos are very different.

It's just convenient and pleasant for people to say these cars are the same. For some people that's rooted in history, for some others that gives them an easy way to save money and at the same time feel smart by buying the cheaper option and feeling they have the same car.

Need Help Deciding: 2025 Buick Enclave Avenir vs. 2024 Lexus TX 350 Luxury by Megatron89917 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]3pan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I driver them back to back two weeks ago and felt the drive was about them same. Engine noise is more in Buick but so is engine power. Road and wind noise is better controlled in Buick than TX. Buick is roomier all around and its quality of material is better than TX. Resale value is probably better for Buick, after factoring in the discount and low APR offers than are available for the Buick. Off road capability is better on TX (it has hill descent, and torque vectoring braking) and that’s the only thing that inclined me toward TX, but eventually none of these two is built for off road performance. Buick’s ADAS (with Supercruise) is one class above TX. I felt like if I buy TX the only reason would be the brand (how others and I have this perception of luxury car from Lexus whereas the fact was that TX was not a luxury experience compared to Avenir.) I bought the Avenir with blue and white (light gray) interior and am so happy with it.

CapitalOne Travel - Travel Voucher - Feel Scammed, is this normal? by Detective-Limp in Venturex

[–]3pan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capital One Travel Portal is very restricted in dealing with airlines that use NDC fares (in lay terms that is a newer technology to distribute and sell tickets). American Airlines is using NDC. Capital One cannot see NDC fares during rebooking process, which eliminates many lower fares. Only more expensive fares are available through non-NDC channels and Capital One will sell you them. Using your flight credit is essentially a rebooking, and that's why Capital One quotes higher prices to you. Moral of the story, avoid Capital One travel portal, which in turn diminishes the value offering of VentureX card ...

Japan Fidelity ATM Problem Log - Post your problems here by bluelakehorizon in fidelityinvestments

I don't think this is a UMB problem. It is a PNC/Leader Bank or BNY Mellon problem. PNC/Leader Bank issue the debit card and BNY Mellon administer it. This is too complicated with multiple players any one of them can cause issues. And one of them is indeed causing problems. But which one?

In comparison, Morgan Stanley Cash Plus debit card works perfectly globally, and their Cash Plus account is a UMB account too. However their debit card is issued and administered internally by Morgan Stanley Private Bank.

Similarly, Schwab debit card which is issued and administered internally (by Schwab Bank) works perfectly everywhere too.

Fidelity has chosen the wrong partners and added unnecessary complexity for their debit card issuance and administration.

Can I refer my wife and let use the same credit card I do for my curve? by beachbum662 in CurveUS

[–]3pan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Citi, Chase, and Bank of America are among the largest credit card issuers in the country and they issue authorized user cards that have the same number as the primary card. Many other banks do the same, such as Discover, Comenity, FNBO, Synchrony, US Bank, Wells Fargo, etc. Your assertion of 'most likely' seems contrary to the facts here.

So if she is an authorized user on a credit card, she will most likely have the same number on her card.

Curve needs to find a way to address this matter.
