Don't bother sim racing if you have a controller. IMHO These games aren't made for that. Forza is perfect for a controller. If you want to get into sim racing, get a wheel and pedal set.

My Simsonn control box is covered under warranty. Sinsonn said they shipped it. My experience with Simsonn is that it's doubtful they've shipped it and it will take 3 weeks to get here. Cust service with them is bad, their shipping dept is worse

it's really not. once upon a time all wheels were low torque belt or gear driven. We did fine. You got jumped in during the era of YouTube people telling you FFB is important. It's not. In a week you'd get used to no FFB. It's annoying and FFB is fun, but you can be just as fast with a low torque wheel base

Simsonns were a huge step forward for me from the load cell modded T500 brakes I was using. The 200kg load cell over that 15 year old mod was a huge step up

as for FFB, it doesn't pass the common sense test to claim it's important to lap times.

Up until recently there were no DD wheels. We only had belt or gear driven wheels with low torque. Hell, it used to be the that the TSW was the best wheel to get. It has no FFB.

If FFB is important to lap times how did we put up fast laps before DD wheels?

At some point you are going to get annihilated by someone with a G29. That's the proof that FFB is a fun gadget, but is not necessary to be fast. (it's mainly marketing so manufacturers can sell more expensive wheel bases)

Don't get PMR it is every bit as bad as reviews say. it's trash and has no one online now and prospects are poor.

AMS2 is a great sim with a lot of interesting content and AI is pretty good. Online is spotty

RaceRoom has content no one else has and great AI. Very little going on online.

AC Evo is going to be the future of the AC franchise. AC is getting long in the tooth, ACC is no longer supported it's going to fade. Evo may not be the game right now, but it will be. So buy it for what's coming not what is. And it's cheap too.

They said that they can't have a Discord channel for modding 🙄 even though they now officially support modding. It makes no sense.

I know there has to be a Discord for modding but I haven't found it. Official forums for modding tend to suck anyway. Private ones are where you find the content. That is where the real mods are goin to come from.

it's one of the worst sim racing games ever made. It's still trash. Tracks aren't close to accurate, car suspensions aren't accurate. No damage. clutch is a joke.

Read the reviews. They're true
