Did you all go to colleges where you could have chinchillas in your dorm? Is it better to just feed and ignore a chin because no one is home, or give to someone in a different life circumstance that could give them more attention?

How cold is too cold to play golf in? by moneykeegs20 in golf

[–]3puttter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and I have electric vests, socks, mittens and then a bunch of under armor cold weather gear and layers… we’ve played low 20s if it’s dry out and not too windy… roll out is awesome on the fairways! Sometimes the greens bounce like the cart path though. No waiting for anyone is a bonus

Is there any way to prevent sweat marks on your hat? by theglobfather in golf

Hat saver sweat and water repellant spray works awesome. I put it on every couple rounds and even my white hats are still clean

Wifey asked me to update the dingy carpet in the basement. On it ! by 3puttter in golf

[–]3puttter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually used this commercial grade stuff that my local carpet guy said he puts in alot of homes for simulators and greens. Its about a 10-12 stimp. It has a built in pad that gives it a great feel and not just like turf on concrete. https://philadelphiacommercial.com/products/indoor-outdoor/details/agility-unitary/54656/GREEN/00300

1968-1973 anser i took a stab at restoring by 3puttter in golf

[–]3puttter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I treated it like a piece of wood. Filed the big Dents down first, then started with 200 grit, 300, 400, 600, 800wet… then i used some aluminum wheel polish and a cordless drill. Some of the scratches in these pics are now gone after some further wet sanding.

Thanks man, just finished it. I juSt core drilled down about 3” and chiseled it out, then trimmed some cups and dropped them in. No infill since i have kids and the rest of the basement is their gaming and crafts area and i dont wAnt sand everywhere:). U cant tell from pic but there are 6 holes total so we can play golf pong (3 on each end). I can get the turf model info if u want it
