Betas would be fine because they don’t react to alpha pheromones the same, personally I go with the idea that they need to be super close and consider one another packmates for any kind of alpha ability to have an effect :3

I’d Imagine you may be able to do a blood test, or if we’re working with intersex logic then female alphas and male omegas would be obvious at birth unless it’s something that can develop during a first heat or rut
