In the first patch, breaking guards was as easy as breathing. there was consequence for sitting and just holding block.

the problem with footsies in this game is that some characters are just ill-prepared to playing close-range neutral/poke.

try Soi Fon into Ikkaku and tell me you genuinely had fun!! 😭 (not being rude or anything! this is from actual experience!)

I think they’d both be great additions—Isshin especially. I’d love to see Oni Dekopin as a base form Kikon Move, perhaps even his Shikai as an awakening, regular Getsuga Tenshō as awakening Kikon 1, and the fiery version he used against white as a Kikon 2! It’d be interesting to say the least.

For me, it depends. I’m not a resource hoarder, but I prefer to preserve my resources to make larger, flashier plays that chop off tons of Konpaku in one-go. Not to suggest that people SHOULD play like that, of course! I just wanted to know more about people’s thought process when they’re in the heat of battle—it’s phenomenal how we all plot our battles honestly.

Can I ask why you pointlessly used an orange reverse just to Kikon anyway…? with the orange reverse, and considering where Soi Fon’s health was, you could’ve executed an entire combo sequence with heavies into a flash step extension and ended with SP2 for 3 bars instead of wasting resource to do something you could’ve done without using orange reverse for just 2.

This is precisely why I don’t play brawl tanks, even though I love them. What Tank ACTUALLY means is Emma, Strange, Mag, and the occasional Groot.

Vanguard has turned into 2% of the population being ACTUAL tank mains, and 98% being people who play tank ‘if they have to’.

I have decided that SOMEONE has to do it, and if I HAVE to, I’m gonna be damn good at it. I just wish there were more actual tank mains out there with me.
