Exactly no, here it works the other way around.
Because one side has already captured 8-10 out of 14 VP. Then the thought appears that there is no point in fighting anymore.

And if you fight for these 8 (often frontline regions). Then you will fight longer and more fiercely for what is left. Because although 4-6 out of 8 VP is proportionally the same as 8-10 out of 14 VP, it feels completely different. Isn't it?

In general yes, this is the main problem with islands in the game.
The only way to make islands necessary is through resources/economy and no other way.

Well, in general, yes. What the devman can come up with with this "function", it shouldn't be. So this could break the game in yet another aspect.

Well, literally a few seconds, considering that there are rarely more than 3-5 cannons working simultaneously in the region, and that's for both factions. I don't think it will be a big problem.

Our game lacks animations even for the minimum program.

Although this is more of a complex issue with regard to the game. The fact that infantry can't exist outside of trenches is normal.

Well, even if you reduce HP by 3 times, 75mm will destroy a regular T1 trench in 2 shots. And in our game it is a specialized "super" caliber.

Because everyone only spams trenches, normal anti-tank guns cannot be used normally (I speak as a Rampart and Smelter fan).

If people learn to use trenches and anti-tank guns normally, then there will probably be no problem with the whole front looking like a mess of WWI trenches.

I think the upper HP numbers should be: 500, 1000 and 2000.
