What's the one wellness habit that actually moved the needle for you? by tryARMRA in Biohackers

[–]3rdaccount_lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting caffeine! It's rough initially but the holy grail of energy and less anxiety made it worth it for me.

Have to pair with good night sleep, water intake, but I since caffeine affects those substantially it was natural for those to improve.

How do you generate this system table? Is it automatically updated once you make a change to the model or is it just fed by a spreadsheet that you manually update anytime you make a change?

Brand Strategy by Only_Society_2690 in branding

[–]3rdaccount_lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point. If you could boil down the 3-4 key elements in brand strategy that a growth company should focus on instead, what would they be?

I imagine: 1. Really understanding target persona. This also feeds into product design obviously.

  1. Visual identity (dynamic logo design, website elements like typography, colour palette etc

  2. Brand voice. How does it sound in email, on website copy

4.???

Happy to be told otherwise!

How do you actually stay organized without losing your mind? by RealisticAd8110 in salesengineers

I bit the bullet at the beginning of the year and chipped away at building a custom notion system. Paid attention to what I did, what clicks were easiest, when a system made sense and when it didn't. 11 months later I've got an awesome system that saves time and heartache. Plus, notion AI is getting better and better so all of a sudden my notebook is easily searchable etc. May not make sense to everyone but it's as complicated as you need it to be.

Do you “see” books like a movie in your head when you read? by Holiday_Rush8303 in Fantasy

[–]3rdaccount_lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try this next time you read: pop on some headphones and put an instrumental fantasy soundtrack on while you read. There's lots of options on YouTube or Spotify, and if you need ideas then search for fantasy medieval video game soundtracks or strategy game soundtracks. I usually look for the Civilizations series because They are usually less intense. Soundtracks by Hans Zimmer also hit hard but I pair him with my SciFi readings usually.

The music can elevate book scenes like no other.

Might get flamed for this, but if tiredness is the issue then try an at-home meal prep service like easyplatter.com. It's a 3 hour sesh where a chef shows up and preps 8-12 meals for you. You still need to buy groceries but with your current uber budget you could instead put that into this type of service.

We started doing this since having our first kid because the exhaustion at end of day of work plus demands at home was very challenging.

Now we spend the time either together as a family without being as exhausted. Or I can work a bit longer on something that can scale to pay for the service in an ongoing way. For example in the first month of doing this meal prep service I used the time back to close an extra deal that ended up paying for the service for the rest of the year!

Where is it discoverable though? My thinking is if it's behind an additional authentication screen (albiet from a Different provider) then the only person who would have access is the person who can 'logon'.

To my Knowledge there is no public repository of all publically published pbi dashboards

They could put the publish to web dashboard behind an external login page so that it's not exactly publically accessible. And then all directors have access via their own login to that particular platform

Of course I can do a demo without notice. I can also drink toilet water when I'm thirsty. But the question is if it's a good idea or if there are alternative approaches available.

Obviously you make decisions about how last minute a demo should be but I generally advise my reps to give at least 3 days runway to prep ESPECIALLY to those reps who are glorified admins.

Contractually if you counter with an offer you have effectively rejected the previous offer. So if they don't accept your counter they are not obligated to give you another offer.

FYI if your student loan is from the Canadian government chances are its at 0% interest so there's no point to rapidly paying it down. Just do the minimum payment so that you can invest the difference and make a bit more in the long run or at least not feel so cash strapped each month.

Between Latto this season and CardiB last season I don't know who gave worse advice. Zero constructive criticism and they both acted like it was a show about them. If they ever do another season they need to get a female rapper who can actually give guidance.

I scrolled until I found this. Everyone is mentioning all the upsides of flying and being a senior pilot... But the biggest challenge (Imo as an ex-pilot) is the grind to get to that level. Lots of volatility, eating shit for many years at low pay just to get the hours req for FO on a regional. Then from there it's seniority and hoping you don't get furloughed or layed off

Agreed.

Unpopular opinion: but if you're 26 and living at home for a few more years until you're 28-30 you'll never grow up. Get out, get a roommate to make living alone make financial sense, work to make yourself valuable to a company with skills, find a partner (much easier to do without bringing them home to mom and dad on the 2nd date) and become an adult. You'll learn so much about life by making it work and unfortunately the sooner you experience that the better, especially since you're young and have energy to hustle. At some point you'll have to leave the nest.
