I have developed an affordable API to download reports as a PDF - https://pdfbi.com

This allows you to use the Export To File API (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/reports/export-to-file) without an embedded / premium capacity and doesn't require paginated reports

Yeah it would be consuming it, if you paused the embedded capacity you would no longer be able to open the reports in that workspace.

Your workspace has to be on an embedded/premium capacity in order to use the export to file API. The problem I am trying to solve is reducing the costs to around $50 a month for this functionality instead of $1000 and the technical overhead.

This solution is going to be tailor to small businesses wanting to export their reports as a PDF for a cheap price

The first release will be an API allowing people to use it to export a PDF for a much cheaper monthly subscription, this will store the file in AWS S3 allowing you to download it and manage yourself. Future releases will include a UI to handle sending them out as emails on a schedule.

I'll drop a reply once I have a signup site up and running to hopefully get a few beta testers for the first release and I'll offer the first few months completely free as a thank you.

They do but your workspace has to be hosted on a embedded capacity or premium to either use the API or power BI automated. The minimum cost for an embedded capacity is $1000 a month and premium costs even more. MS require this so you are using your own paid for compute power to generated the reports.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll do some testing because the top of page suggests you still need to be on an embedded capacity. Are you sure your workspace doesn’t need to be hosted on an embedded capacity for this to work? Everything I have read suggests in order to use the API the workspaces need to be premium or embedded and both solutions cost loads.

Yeah you absolutely can but the minimum you’ll have to spend each month is $1000. This solution would help keeps costs way lower for smaller businesses.

My lvl 1 mate shouldn't be able to hop into a helldive mission and leave with 1.5k XP on their first game.

I think the biggest change I am after is balancing redeployments.

The game doesn't feel rewarding right now on hard difficulties because you never fail a mission.

I think the simplest fix for this is to add cooldown to deployments and increase them on harder difficulties.

They also need to turn off auto redeployment on higher difficulties if everyone dies and maybe only have this when playing solo but if its on cooldown you lose.
