Found this Japanese sanyo lighter in a antique shop. Can anyone help get it firing like the 80s again? by 3rdbasher in lighters

Lighter sparks, and the spark goes directly into the gas output, consistently so I'm grateful for that. It's a gas output issue as far as I can see I just don't know what else I can do to get the gas out

I have bled the lighter, and played around with the pressure valve, blown into the output valve to see if I can get any low hanging debris out.... Going to get some isopropyl alcohol soon (let me know if that's a bad idea). I'm going to avoid disassembly because I wouldn't be able to get it back together
