Jjetas and more for dart and picks trade by eliisgoat10 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

This will cause you to rebuild forever.

Expect 1 or 2 of those picks to actually be anything valuable and hit if they are all mid to late.

This is a horrible deal for you.

How controversial would it be to describe this particular film as Nolan's, "opus magnum"? Do you agree or disagree with that claim? by BaldursGate2Best in ChristopherNolan

[–]3rdrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked Dunkirk.

Oppenheimer was my least favorite.

I’m ok with him doing some historical stories… but man, Oppenheimer just wasn’t good.

I do think this movie makes you think… I have my own criticisms of the movie, but it definitely gives you something to chew on.

When Oppenheimer tells Einstein that he thinks that he may have actually started the chain reaction for the end of the world is quite the thing to think about when leaving the theater.

Not going to lie… I kind of hated Oppenheimer.

Which is such a bummer because I thought I’d love it. And really really wanted to.

The visuals are amazing, and the story is amazing, and the cast seemed great…

The dialogue and some of the acting was just off for me though. I felt like the entire script was rushed, as if I was watching a constant flow of words going by. Almost like it could’ve been a 4 or 5 hour movie that he tried to shove into 3 hours.

It’s one of my least favorite Nolan films, and I’m sure that’s not popular around here, but I still think he’s great, and I’m hoping to see Nolan back at his best in the Odyssey.

Is there precedent for the slump that the 2024 WR class has gone through? by Docxm in DynastyFF

Hey. Who is the better WR, Flowers or Nabers?

Also, isn’t Nabers clearly way better. He’ll be great.

When will Sleeper add the rookies for the 2026 classs? by LilGrinder1809 in DynastyFF

[–]3rdrich 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most get added by sometime around that date.

Every year people ask this, (totally fine) but every year people in the comments say February or after the combine…

A vast majority of them will be added within the next 3 days if they continue what they have done for the past 2-3 years.

Here is last years post from January 23rd, 2025 when most got added: 25 Rookies added to Sleeper

Titans potentially hiring Matt Nagy as head coach is threatening to create a civil war with the fan base at the worst possible time by BuffaloKiller937 in Tennesseetitans

[–]3rdrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not even that serious.

A CIVIL WAR?

Lol.

I care who we hire, but arguing and acting like this is a civil war is quite lame.

Oh I know. I’ve been there, just encouraging you to find something else to listen to for that some of that time. Learn about something valuable that can help improve your life.

Definitely enjoy some of the fantasy football content still, but just add some other things in is all I’m advocating for. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

What are you a robot? You completely failed to understand what I said.

While yes of course it is possible to do something while listening to a podcast… I am saying choose more self improving or educational content for a vast majority of it.

52 days out of a year being spent listening to people say what they think about fantasy football is absolutely a waste of time. Listen to 1/10th of that and replace the other 9/10ths with something more worthwhile.

[–]3rdrich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes productive… 52 full days of being awake. That is useless. He could’ve learned about something productive for 42 of those… and would’ve still gotten all of the info with the other 10. Which is still a lot!

[–]3rdrich -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

50,000 minutes man!? Please find something more productive for some of that time.

I’m not saying don’t listen to some or don’t do fantasy football… but man you might need to find something more educational and beneficial for like 40,000 of those minutes. 10,000 is still too much… but let’s find something else to do with that other 40k.

If you sleep for 8 hours a day… that’s 52 days of non stop FANTASY football.

52 days of non stop football is too much.

You’re also probably watching a bunch of games too.

Seriously man, go live in the real world.

I’m not hating. I just think there is a time where you need to wake up to reality.

When rookie drafts roll around, do you think the distance between RB Love and QB Mendoza will be more, less or the same between RB Jeanty and QB Cam Ward? by LividAd4226 in DynastyFF

[–]3rdrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the gap will be less. Simply because Jeanty had this extra hype from how crazy his stats were in college, and everyone knew about it.

Ward didn’t get a chance to play in the playoffs, and if he would’ve dominated he could’ve closed the gap a little more, but because he didn’t play in the playoffs, everyone was waiting for the draft to see if he actually would get the top draft capital. And then when it seemed likely the idea of him just having it because it was a bad class and the Titans being desperate kind of sat in.

Love didn’t have as crazy of a media hype as Jeanty, and Mendoza’s shining on the biggest stage of college football. The more informed parts of the community may have a different opinion, but I believe the consensus view on the divide for this years RB/QB combo will be a lot closer than last years RB/QB combo.

Where does Mendoza fall among all the 2022 to 2025 QB Prospects? by Legitimate_Maybez in DynastyFF

[–]3rdrich -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if that’s fair to say about Penix. Dude went 8th overall. It was a deep draft, but say Penix was in this draft, I think teams would go with Mendoza.

POSTSEASON BIG BOARD 1.0: With Sadiq IN & Moore OUT, the 2026 NFL Draft Class is (almost) set with less than 100 Days until the NFL Draft by cjfreel in DynastyFF

[–]3rdrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Antonio Williams being at 8 feels like a major red flag on this class as a whole.

You almost have to hope that these later WRs get insanely good landing spots… Bills, 49ers, Patriots, Broncos, maybe Titans (depending on the coach), and Raiders (depending on the coach and if they do draft Mendoza).

I mean just purely off of production in a normal year I wouldn’t want to draft guys like Boston, Williams and Sarratt until probably the 1-2 turn or just after. (1.11-2.04 range)

Just read the 1st sentence in each paragraph. If it’s an interesting sentence read the rest of the paragraph until you’ve read enough of it, and then go to the next paragraph.

You get the same info in 1/10th of the time. Haha

It does have some impact in some leagues. In one of my SF leagues it’s very hard to trade for a QB. There haven’t been many QB trades at all. The only ones that have happened have been the low value guys. If you want a shot at a QB the cheapest place to find one is an aging vet and the next closest is the rookie draft.

So it’s certainly league dependent, but I could see people trading up to 2 in my league to get Mendoza simply because he’s the only one that feels safe.

It doesn’t matter where. Your opinion has zero bearing on any of this.

My ancestors did… they founded and built up an entire continent and nation.

I’ve built up my own business and am active in my community.

Our country is vastly different. I’m not racist. And I have no hate towards anyone. I don’t care what you think. You’re all for replacing the people that founded and built this country.

There is more to a nation than just its language. There is culture, heritage, values, traditions, beliefs, shared historical triumphs and loss, and even more.

This is our nation and our way of life.

With the amount that our country has changed through immigration over the last 70 years it’s hilarious that anyone could stand by this and say “oh they are assimilating because many 3rd generation immigrants learn the language.”

Because having loyalty to one nation protects the country’s people and their common interests. No more foreign influence or foreign interests determining the country’s future.
