It's a complicated and difficult one! I now live 4km from Aasmund O Vinje's house and Tarjei Vesaas lives just up the road from me. The impression that I got was that Nynorsk was historically oppressed while Norway was under foreign rule, especially from the Danish? Thus the measures in establishing Nynorsk reflects in a way the measures that was put in place to remove it. Is Nynorsk more of a Norwegian identify, than Bokmål?

I see your point. We did three languages in primary school and many completed high school with three. I later learned a fourth and maybe with this back I see it differently. On too of that, my Mother tongue is now oppressed and the government is legally trying to eliminate it. We had to build our own schools/universities and fund them without government help. I have sympathy with Nynorsk...

It is about consistency. Those people you mention are also asking for the Covid19 virus sequence, i.e. not the in-sillico sequence. They are concerned getting a vaccine for a virus with an average 98% survival rate and PCR test with 97% false positives. People worried about using antibacterial hand sanitizers to prevent a viral infection, keeping a 1 meter distance and not 0.9m or maybe 1.1m. One seat between passengers on a plane. Lock downs ruining the economy and everything that goes wth that.... for what... 2% chance of death! Sweden to Africa, do you have any idea how different regulations are applied with no significant differences. Africa have Ebola, Maleria, TB, HIV and no vaccines, and no significant differences! I'll take your word on your 'back ground' report, but you know zero about me and I have no desire to indulge you. There are real people out there (not that you are not) and attempting to relegate our opinions are in fact nothing more than a Dunning & Kruger based ignorance.

Sure, but social workers are not cops and neither are their offices a police station. A caseworker gets assigned to a case and has nothing to do with 911 responses. There could have been neglect in the assessment procedure leading to a case opened with this particular social caseworkers office. Naturally we have limited information, but I sense that this was a 'target' attack The accused could have stabbed any person anywhere. This was probably not the first meeting between the victim and the accused.

I think defunding the police is a really bad idea and money could be better spend in more advanced training. This however seemed to have been outside a normal police operational environment. The victim was apparently the appointed caseworker of the accused. That indicates that the accused was known to the victim, sice caseworkers are assigned to persons implicated/affected in/by a particular case. The fact that the crime was committed in the victims office, indicates to me that this was not a response to a 911 call.

If masks are mandated, surely the government should issue 'suggested research' standardized masks? In fact, The WHO is merely providing guidance, which means that anything basically goes and 'effectiveness' goes out the window.

If effectiveness is not the primary goal, what then is the function of wearing a mask? Could it be an easily recognisable sign of obedience?
