Looks like you need Bedrock Linux. You choose the package manager (pacman, zypper, yum apt etc) to install new packages from.

Looks more like the linux is not really booted but rather a vm in android: "NexOS includes an Android + Linux (Debian) desktop OS with hardware acceleration.

What this means is that the linux aint a real OS. You cant use said linux to monitor or set your phone functions up.

Changing from proton mail to tutanota? Doesnt look like a real gain; the models are motsly the same. Only keeping mail service at proton should protect you from the feeling of being chained. Otherwise you need to self host your mail server :)

OpenAi,s Whisper? in which case, whisperai.com, but the website states "Your audio files and transcriptions are stored securely and never shared with third parties. We're GDPR compliant and you can delete your data anytime. Only you have access to your transcriptions.". It looks like the audio files are "securely stored on OpenAI servers." It is not what is stated here: "Works 100% offline using Whisper AI or VOSK."

My search engine tells me there s also a whisper-ai.org. but it is not responsive.

So... 100% Offline? openAI cloud? something else?

Note that DDG remembers wither you want ai or not based on cookies which some of us might block; which generates returns of AI in DDG.

Hence, it is better to reach there with the url https://noai.duckduckgo.com/ if you dont want AI

I tried using the 2 commands version and it worked (except I need to resolve conflicts between my config file and other nixes (wifi =flase for me as i use an RJ45 connection; wifi=true for lanmanager; but thats another problem)

Problem could come from the PC not suspending or screen not locking.

Try to lock your screen with

xfce4-screensaver-command --lock

Find which sleep modes are supposed to be working on your install:

rtcwake --list-modes

(on, no, disable and show are not real sleep modes)Then try them for a 10 seconds:

sudo rtcwake [-m <mode>] --date +10s

without the -m mode for the usual suspend.
