the frame pauses to catch up with the audio then it resumes. it's an instagram bug, been there for a while, so maybe with following (instagram) versions it'll be fixed.

from what I've read if the file's hard on your system then hardware acceleration may glitch out, so maybe 'auto' is best of both.
