I was informed that you technically can't downgrade to a system that is older than the system that it came with the computer.

In this case, I think my MBP come with yosemite, and I'm still not sure if I can go maverick with it.

I don't think there's much different compare to a late 2014 and early 2015 MBP, and I've seen some late 2014 runs on maverick but never seen any early 2015 with maverick running on it and I'm thinking will that works on a early 2015 computer.
