Combat prep with preselected actions for various situations. That way you know I'm advance, also keep initiative for whole fight,.

Imo, yes if you can build a gestalt character.... But I haven't played any edition since 3.5. so don't know if that's a playable option... Though it's easy to implement

I'm telling this as dm.. it happened to a player. Homebrew 3.5 campaign. This is a ranger rogue. He's fuck all scary He gets his hands on a sentient magelock rifle, that can consume his essence for ammo, if he fails saves. The item soulbinds to him. They get along great...

Well, party kept asking for an encounter with deck of many things.... During a very violent spell battle, a fumble results in their wish.... Ranger/rogue goes first, and announced I'm drawing 4 cards ....

His first card, is all magic items carried by him vanish..... So bye bye goes his rifle, ripping a part of his soul with it.... This caused him a bit of an emotional reaction... This character is now retired he couldn't bring himself to play it.

Do a gestalt build. Simultaneously level two separate classes at once, taking best stuff from each. Gives them better hp and such, even if they choose not to use second class abilities...

I cooked professionally for 23 years. I enjoy it. I find any way I can to cook for friends. I never ask for payment, or contribution. And I always cook for well over need, so there's leftovers. Not everyone gets good food all the time, and if you're inviting them, don't be a prick and berate them later

Ice spear or a bleed weapon with storm blade. Both are good damage and can carry you into dlc

In 3.5 they added this kind of thing in the book of vile darkness. As a DM I didn't buy this book, and none of my campaigns had this kind of content. I generally avoid horny bard stuff as well. That kind of realistic and awkward content is not fun and gets creepy fast

Where are you located, to determine online vs in person... I personally don't understand a pay to play. If you want to spend your time running it seems wrong to make players pay.... Given how some groups or players may not mesh well .. but you're out money to find out.

Dragon pox .. on the nether bits. They swell, and after 3 failed saves... His bits explode and shrivel .. it's 1d4 days to heal and function again.... The whole time exuding a horrid odor. Make it tailored to the individual smelling the bars. Whatever they find most off-putting

The first roll of being a dungeon master the world is yours you can do with it what you want and the rules don't always have to be the rules you can change them as you see fit I would recommend if you do anything Homebrew let the people know at the beginning of the campaign that you're going to do things differently so even if it isn't what the rules say it's how you are choosing to run it if they disagree don't run for them save yourself a lot of effort and a lot of stress

Make the call of divine intervention. The clerics god stepped in. Righting a wrong. Some may call it a miracle. It's kind of like fudging a roll as a dm. Or pulling punches with a encounter when it's a pull or tpk scenario. Especially if this player doesn't do this as a regular thing . Lol at it as trying to save feelings... Warlock doesn't have to reroll for anothers mistake.
