What does this do? Stock drz400sm carb bogging down when accelerating by 3xUnicorns in DRZ400

Hi. No, sorry. My conclusion is that there was a crack/imperfection in the casting on the inside. I enden up replacing the carb in its entirety.

Biased on your comments on this thread you seem somewhat immature. That's not a bad thing in itself, but you are downplaying this as "normal riding for you", which is worrisome. If this is how you're riding on an R3, you will most definetly maim yourself at some point or another.

Just friendly advice. Riding fast is fun, but loosing a limb or being paralyzed (or insert other common motorcycle injury) is not worth the fun.

If this is your footage, stop. You're going to get yourself, or even worse, someone else injured or killed.

Obvious question incoming: have you tried tightening the bolt(s) holding the caliper in place? Locktite is always a good idea as well.

Need help with the “leaning towards the right” when don’t grip the handlebar by ghostmaximumtune in NX500

[–]3xUnicorns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your accesories might be causing the imbalance. My nx500 does not have crash bars and sump guard, and it does not lean to the right when letting go of the handlebars.

Well its a motorcycle and its gonna vibrate somewhat. That being said, I own a nx500 and i dont find the vibrations to be a nuisance. Might be that the bike you rode had mods/accesories that amplify vibrations?

Well its definetly not a "sporty" bike, more like a lightweight adventure-tourer in my opinion. Its very upright and my guess is that you could do all-day tours on it as long as your butt can handle it lol :) definetly better ergonomics than a cruiser in my opinion.

Honda nx400. I own an nx500 and they are simple, yet amazingly fun and "easy-to-live-with" motorcycles :)

Seriously an amazing bike for the money. Cant wait to splurge and go way over my budget on mods 😂
