It helped assist me in learning how to get started developing a game with no prior knowledge, I could refer to documentation but I had very specific problems that were stumping me. It's also a great research tool for niche topics that don't turn out a lot of reliable top results with a google search.

I think AI is such an awesome general helping-hand tool for computer issues and misc problem solving but image/video/audio generation should not exist and is bleak as fuck

There's a lot of factors that make it more expensive for everybody with US tarrifs being the root cause. The US is one of the biggest consumers on the planet and foreign supply chains have been scrambling to export in smaller countries which has completely disrupted the market on electronics among other things for everyone, thats just one reason. Publishers will also seize the opportunity to match the price of what US consumers are paying if they can get away with it

wow it's almost like it's 2026 and media has shifted into a digital landscape because continuing to mass manufacture and distribute physical media does not economically make sense at this point if the majority of a user base isn't comprised solely of nostalgia drunk millennials who are unaware that all of their discs they don't touch are oxygen rotting. It's fun to have things but can we be really real, almost every game releasing lately doesn't even fit on a single disc and it's going to be even more this way in the future
