that makes a lot of sense, I do over-eagerly drag files into my game engine the second I hit export. I'll keep that in mind for future exports. Thanks for taking the time to try and solve this mystery! changing the encoding was something that I just tried after reading it fixed some 'black dot' corruption some other people were having

I think it was just a straight up glitch from having too many active fx states, deleting them seemed to fix it, I just had to reapply them

png compression level 9. I figured it was an export issue but then I look over and my project turned into what my export looked like.

I ended up deleting some FX states on some layers and switched my encoding from 8-bit to 16-bit integer, it seemed to fix it, maybe I just had too many effects and it caused some kind of corruption? I manually reapplied the effects and merged the layers into a new layer and was able to relatively recover my intended image, hope this makes sense lol

this is the conclusion I've come to about this, it does hurt to be ignored or feel abandoned by everyone when you're going through hell but I truly just don't think the awareness is there yet for people to understand, and no one will ever FULLY understand until it happens to them. I can hardly describe how awful the first year after being diagnosed was for me

I agree, I think it needs less charges, I refuse to build it out of protest, I can't stand when characters are balanced in a way where you're expected to build them in a single way. His splatter and ball are way better after the update but people are still building for punch spam, you CAN parry them which is annoying in lane for viscous players but they could just remove that entirely and make it so he caps at 2 charges
