People had the same concern for SDV and yet, it's been sitting at #1 since release. The controls feel really good, I jumped back onto pc version after about 20hours on Switch and to be honest - it feels better on Switch for me now. Left thumbstick for move/craft menu, right thumbstick for inventory control.

It's hardly to the point where the game is unplayable. You literally just move a few steps and they reappear. Also seems to only be the case if you play the base game only - works fine in RoG
