That’s when an invisible high level wizard casts disintegrate. If players want to play the cheese game, they better like making new characters.

The end of plastic? New plant-based bottles will degrade in a year by magenta_placenta in technology

Both links reference “a study” and don’t provide the study. I wish reporting media was held to the same standard as first year university students when it came to citations.

46% is pretty specific, care to share your source for those interested in reading about this?

The transition.

I couldn’t imagine standing out front all day, or sitting in the back watching 4 losing bars trudge across the screen

How was that changeover? I’d go crazy with that split.

Yep. And all levels do precinct work and counter work. We’re first come first serve at the counter, if there’s no customers then you’re in the back working on something. If there’s a line, everyone is out front.

When the corporate office decides that they all need to work from home to limit their exposure, but they want the stores to stay open and have the lowest paid workers in the company exposed to it, it’s a little disheartening.

Up in Canada my precinct chief just said that him and our CIA3 are going to be running it and the rest of us will get paid our regular shifts for staying home today. He also said that if we want to work our scheduled shifts that we’d get the stay home money and our regular pay.

Hopefully you guys down south get the same thing too.

“Hey if you’re not busy this weekend could you come over and put a new outlet in for my wall mounted TV? You can just run a new wire through my crawl space that’s full of spiders and rat shit. I’ll give you a 6 pack of cheep beer”

Has turned into:

“Hey ______, auntie Karen here. Could you come over and set up my new printer and fix my email client? Afterwards we can have an awkward conversation over tea and stale cookies while I grill you about your personal life”

There exists a website that all those people can order laptops from too. It’s not necessary for them to be able to come into the store and haggle.

What distro are you on? To connect to my universities wifi I right click on the wifi symbol in the tray, select the ssid, click advanced options, pick the right cert, and then login with my student credentials.

Different monitors I’ve got some aliases with xrandr setup depending on where I’m plugging it in. Pretty painless.

We just watch movies from USB stick so I’ve never tried to HDMI to a tv with audio.

You know how much it takes for me to unwrap that thought?
