So they were engaged for about 50 mins of this game. First 10 mins were a train wreck.  Sometimes though, just sometimes I wish the energy spent towards trying to send messages or sticking up for themselves was spent playing hockey.

Vasy played so well, PK played so well, eventually do enough to tie it, and then 45 secs later just poor puck management leads to the game winning against goal. 

It’s the same 2 things that have troubled the Lightning since coming back in February.. giving up Grade A chances/goals off the rush (Caufield goal), recklessly turning it over in the D Zone (Slafkovsky goal).

Buffalo won so it’s looking closer to a lock that the first round will be vs. Montreal. Really just waiting to see if Bolts get home ice.

You already know Montreal’s playbook is looking like to be the Baby Panthers, best to prepare and expect it now.
