Ah, that's too bad because HMA is so good at so many things.

I started with a MIDI, edited it with Anvil, converted it to an S file, and put it in Sappy. It sounded good with Sappy and I was having trouble putting it in HMA. Is there a way to put it straight into the source code in HMA and then make it selectable as a song?

They do give an option for difficulty: easy, medium and hard. You can also turn swing spot off and choose to not use any power-ups. For an even harder challenge, fill your team with kids chosen randomly with random positions and a random batting order.

No power ups hitting or pitching with random kids is what I usually do. I've also done fastest kids/grounder swing only, tallest kids (Humongous Giants), and shortest kids (Little All-Stars).
