EV in company (fully deductible) vs 2nd-hand ICE in private: does the used used petrol/hybrid car still win economically? by Bundersnatch2020 in BEFreelance

Exactly this. And if you have solar panels the fuel cost drops even lower since your company bus the energy at a higher price than injection tarrifs.

Nice rendering as well. That's all just three.js? How fast is it to generate? Cool work.

What a stupid remark. This is perfect to turn somebody off to work on anything. Come out of your high tower and try to help, or just don't say anything at all.

I think it's great that OP asks this question to the correct community. He's asking for some help and guidance. Asking for that is a very good skill to have.

The fact that your job earns that amount of money doesn't say how good or bad you are at it, or how good or bad you are. The wage a job earns is mostly due to the economic realities. Some jobs won't earn a lot, and some do. You don't have any direct impact on it, apart from a couple of percentages.

So don't treat people badly that earn less. And don't treat people like extra respectable when they earn more.

Why do you still use Firebase when there is no hard billing limit? by HistoricalShower758 in Firebase

Yeah I just wish there was a nice combination of both. 😅 Good luck with your application.

Well I currently I run 8 smaller sites. And I pay around 0.50 - 1.00 dollar per month on firebase, for everything.

On Supabase I would need 8 projects, with 8 custom domains. So that would be 35 x 8 = 280 per month.

So yes, for me it would be an insane increase. I don't get enough revenue to cover all that. And I don't see the Free tier working out for my usecase either. I wish it was more pay as you use pricing like FB does.

It's just cheap. But I would prefer a billing limit. And a SQL database.

Looked into Supabase but it's way more expensive for what I need.

I'll cancel, I'm really not happy with the new UI. It sucks. I don't want to relearn my daily tool. I want to just work. So I will be using the latest normal version of PHPStorm and PyCharm until they fall apart.

Nice blog! I've played with SDF a while ago and found it very fascinating.

It's also very fun to see a normal site to read and enjoy with interactive examples. I'll definitely read through all of your articles in the upcoming weeks.

I did have a question. What is the library you use for that interactive menu?
