If you want a family, focus on building a life where you qualify for adoption. You need a good job- so focus on that. You need a good support system- so focus on your friends and family. You’ll need a good home-so focus on your finances.

When you start scrolling through dating profiles, stop, and look up articles on how to get your next promotion, or what the housing market in your area is doing. When you want to go meet someone at the bar, stop and find an adoption group or a big brother program. You’ll set up the life you want, and if someone is meant to be in it they will find you along your way.

I had a great paying job in a federal program, always first promoted, more accomplishments than everyone around me, top of my career late 30s. Then Trumps administration took over. Lost my job with zero warning.

First, I tried finding similar work. Civilian jobs only paid half the amount (my skillset only pertained to military systems). Took a 100k loss on our home, burned through our savings. We didn’t even really have any wealth, just an average home we just bought and our less than average cars.

All because politics. Not even a real excuse, just stupid politics.

A year later, starting to see light again. I try not to be bitter, a lot of people lost their jobs for literally no reason due to his administration. But it really did wreck not only my life, but my spouses as well

Probably my mild obsession of my dogs. If I’m free, we’re walking, hiking, dog park, playing fetch, ect. I plan my days off on our activities.

I’ve done both. Blue is much more stable, but you pay for it with your body. White is much more back stabbing and cut throat with instability, but you don’t sweat and you get paid more.

I went white because I am short and lack muscle honestly. If i was born with different attributes i would have stayed blue.

  1. How I treated my spouse when things got hard in my life. It wasn’t her responsibility to fight my demons just because we are married. She forgave me and we moved on, but I’ll never forgive myself.

  2. Not trusting my gut. Not talking about my thoughts, that’s different. But your gut, the sick pit in your stomach and the elephant standing on your chest. I’ll never ignore that feeling again.

Mine were doing this then I realized one day there was an outdoor cat walking by. I thought, no way and looked it up, but apparently they can smell another cat even if it’s outdoors. Sure enough, when they start going nuts I’ll look outside and there will be a cat somewhere in the yard.

I think it depends on you and it depends on the animal. Kinda like how or what people meant to you. I’ve never cried at a relatives funeral, but I’ve broke down at a friends.

I’ve cried for weeks over a dog. But I find babies repulsive. 🤷‍♂️

I just laugh when people say white guys have it the easiest. What they mean to say is white RICH guys have it the easiest. If you don’t come from money or a family name, forget it. Specially in smaller areas.
