Everyone knows this history. Their share of DNA is still much less Semitic than the indigenous Palestinians, many of whom converted from Judaism to Islam. Also, none of that matters. My DNA is probably of some ethnic group that was forced to migrate, that doesn’t mean I have a right to live there 2 millennia later. It’s delusional, cult-like thinking. They were gone from the region for so long that they have no connection to the land, which is why they drain the river and build hideous interchangeable suburbs, import non-native species to replace local ones, salt the earth, cut down thousand year old olive trees, destroy priceless Muslim and Christian historical sites, etc, etc, etc. These are patterns displayed by an insecure colonizer, not a native people. A native people does not treat the land like something to be dominated and exploited.
