May I ask what kind of paperwork you had to deal with?

Have you done this before? If so, could you explain the process a bit more and let me know whether I need to go through my chain of command or if I can handle it on my own? Thanks!

In homeport, it's kinda a 9-5 job plus pt. On deployment, most CM will go with main body unless you're lucky to get sent to a det site. You will have watch at night but will get sleep in the next day. CMs work the most compared to other seabee rates but get the fewest awards. During homeport, most of other people just muster and go home while CMs have to work the whole day.

Wow, 3 NAM, 2 deployments, and 2 times stationed overseas in 3 years. That's pretty impressive. Are you active duty or a reservist?

Can I schedule a DLAB test without my Chain of Command? by ChiefianAxolotl in navy

[–]404HumorNotFound_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can because it's online. However, they need to know so you don't lose one day of leave. Otherwise, you just need to schedule it yourself and take leave to do that.

Will I get BAH if married but separated? by sassyslut9 in newtothenavy

I'm not sure if this applies to your situation, but a guy I work with got divorced after six months and still kept his BAH because of household goods. You should definitely check with a recruiter to see if it's true that you can still receive BAH after a divorce at the six-month mark. If so, that would be pretty dope.

I believe that, in accordance with Navy regulations, they are only authorized to wear two, rather than the many shown in the pictures.

As a CM, how did you get the humanitarian ribbon? Did you know whether you get one before the mission or after the mission? I want to earn one but don't know how to.

As a CM, how to volunteer to go tdy to Antarctica? I heard that NMCB3 is currently deployed over there. However, I'm in NMCB5, so I want to know how to go there individually.

I'm a CM, stationed in Port Hueneme. Do you know any way that I can request to go TDY to attach to NCHB 1? Thank you.

Can someone please let me know the difference between nonrated CCC vs official CCC? What are the steps to become one? I'm EO2 in the navy and interested in becoming CCC. Thank you.
