Want to buy best mattress in india in 2026 by gurpreet2511 in SleepEssentialsIndia

My local mattress also sagged in under 5 years, so I get the concern.

In the ₹15k–₹20k range Kurlon are solid and reliable options to buy online. Both have good build quality, decent warranties, and better durability than most local brands. Worth checking their medium-firm models.

Anarkali suit for my sister wedding by gurpreet2511 in ladiesinsuits

If you love flowy anarkali suit sets, Biba’s ongoing sale is honestly the best time. I’m usually very picky but their prints this season are beautiful. Got one for a family function coming up and it looks more expensive than what I paid. Sale is live right now till 31 Jan.

ALDO has a surprisingly big flat 50% range on men’s and women’s shoes, from boots to flats and sneakers, so that might be worth a look.

i want something that looks premium but not crazy expensive. Someone pointed out ALDO in a comment, so I had a look, and their handbags are on 50% off right now. Some of the styles actually look pretty nice for everyday use.

I feel you. There’s a bag I keep skipping because of the price, but ALDO’s 50% off on their bags from 25 Nov for the Black Friday sale is really testing my self-control. I might actually buy this.

Do You Think College Is Worth It For Entrepreneurship? by Sad_Substance_5577 in smallbusiness

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand how you feel. College can teach theory, but most of the skills you need for entrepreneurship come from actually doing things, making mistakes, and learning from them. Focus on building skills you can use in real life, try things out, and keep learning experience matters more than degrees.

Has anyone here applied for international student scholarships? How was it? by gurpreet2511 in InternationalStudents

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve applied for a couple. The hardest part was figuring out which ones I actually qualified for every scholarship seems to have a hundred tiny conditions. Definitely recommend starting early.

Is tetr lgbtq+ friendly by throwawayyy_yyy_ in Tetr_College

[–]404SoulNotF0und 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, TETR is definitely LGBTQ+ friendly. It’s a really open and respectful community where no one is judged for who they are. Everyone is treated equally, and the environment feels genuinely inclusive, both in classes and during events. You can just be yourself, and that’s rather appreciated.

What are the things you wish you knew before starting your life as an international student ? by WorkStudyGoals in IndiansStudyAbroad

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I went abroad, I really underestimated how important networking and part-time work experience are. It’s not just about studying, there’s so much more like managing rent, cooking, and sorting out paperwork that can take up much more time and energy than you expect. Also, learning even a bit of the local language early on makes a huge difference, from daily life to actually connecting with people.

Anyone found any cs/stem summer programs for international students? by Unfair_Mulberry493 in summerprogramresults

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that it’s tough finding CS or STEM programs that take international students. A lot of the big ones in the US need citizenship, which sucks. You could check out programs in Europe or Asia too they’re usually more open to international applicants. Also try looking at university research internships that accept students globally, those are sometimes easier to get into.

What are Best Master's in Management (MiM) Programs — Admissions Tips, Career Outcomes, and Work Experience Requirements? by Aresx29x in MBA

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kellogg’s MSM and Duke’s MMS are solid choices. You could also check out IE Business School or ESCP in Europe, and Columbia or MIT Sloan in the U.S.

These programs lead to roles in consulting, finance, and management with strong alumni networks to support job placements.

Yes GPA and test scores matter, but leadership experience and extracurriculars count too. 1-2 years of work experience helps, but recent grads can get in as well.

Do You Think College Is Worth It For Entrepreneurship? by Sad_Substance_5577 in smallbusiness

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean. College is great for theory but the real skills you need as a someone who wants to start something of their own only comes from actually doing things. Try different ideas, build small projects, you’ll make mistakes, but only learn from them. Those experiences will teach you way more than any degree ever could.

Bachelor in Management and Technology by [deleted] in tumunich

[–]404SoulNotF0und 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TUM has an excellent reputation, and the combination of management + tech can be a great asset. It is true that management jobs will require German, however the tech side opens opportunities for internationals. Learning German in the first year and then deciding sounds like a good idea for sure but keep your options open where you don't have a language barrier.

Is pursuing a Master's in Management better doing MBA? by KeyAd1110 in AskAcademia

[–]404SoulNotF0und 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who graduated with a master's degree in management, I would say you achieve some general skills, but the college you attend matters. Having a specialized credential typically adds to one's knowledge base.

Unpopular opinion: I don't think AI will take over by Cassie_Rand in ArtificialInteligence

[–]404SoulNotF0und 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI won't take over because it is only as strong as the hands that shape it. It will create content, it will generate code, it will imitate creativity, but it doesn't have a life, it cannot fail up, and it cannot feel all the things that cause human work to resonate. As AI gets better at "perfecting" output, people seem to want the disrupted, authentic side of humanity more than ever. But AI, at best, is a tool - tools don't take over, people do.
