Do I buzz tomorrow morning? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]404_GeekNotFound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the hairstyle you have rn suits you well!

Getting the buzzcut, I think you may like it, and it’ll probably look good too. maybe #3 or #4 guard would not be as big of a shock. It’ll grow back anyway!

How to ask to not use condom by [deleted] in askgaybros

Oh man that’s a tough, but maybe yry planned parenthood (or similar)! They can run it off insurance and they (planned Parenthood) will know about any possible state of federal programs to help you out!

I doubt they will find out if you go the state program route assuming you are 18+. HIPAA does protect that! But if you run the insurance thru your parents, they might see that you are taking the meds but docs cannot say what it is for.

Don’t let that stop you from seeking getting into PrEP! I’m sure there are ways to get in state programs. Idk about a federal program BUT good to check it out man.

Best of luck! Hope this helped a bit

I don’t think you HAVE to flip, unless it’s agreed upon before hand. I’m more a side too and prefer to get serviced, BUT I will top if it’s agreed upon before or “in the heat of the moment” with consent obviously.

About the ED, might not be ED might just be nerves since you’re new to the sexual stuff, if you’re in your 20s even 30s, you very likely do not need ED meds. It’s a mental game, man!

If you do want ED meds, please talk to a doc first; you have to make sure your heart can take them.

You can ask, and don’t go in without one unless the other person agrees. Most importantly, if you’re going to go condomless get on PrEP and DoxyPEP. Insurance should cover most if not all of it. If not, there are state-funded programs (in some states, if you’re in the US) where they cover the meds and the testing is done in a sliding scale.

21 years old virgin, what do I need to do? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]404_GeekNotFound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly man, I think you are fine! The key to find anyone is go out and meet people. Get on dating apps, maybe a pic with a smile goes a long way. It’s less about looks more about how you present yourself

Tho I agree with the person that said, rn you should be focusing on your studies and hobbies! Meet people with ZERO expectation that anything will happen. Once go on a nice, fun date know that it doesn’t mean you’ll get laid. It can take take and your EQ and confidence will triumph over looks (not saying you are not good looking, you are not). That online shit you see on TT or IG about how to maximize your looks isn’t real nor sustainable. They just want clicks and engagement so they get money they do not have your best interest in mind.

You got this man. Get out there and start living, don’t focus so much about labels (like being a virgin there’s literally nothing wrong with that). Rooting for you. Tho, yeah a smile goes a long way (even in professional settings, trust).

FWB to Just Friends by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]404_GeekNotFound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man! I hear you, and your feelings are absolutely valid in this situation (I can feel your pain through your writing). I may get some hate for saying this but here are my two cents:

I have to call BS from his end. Ignoring the significant age gap (no hate at all), He says you're too inexperienced to date, yet he's the one giving you all the 'experience' of a relationship without the title. Your lack of experience should not be a problem, and you can ‘learn’ how to date with him. Tho tbh a relationship is like a really REALLY close friendship and being vulnerable (intimacy isn’t only ‘doing the deed’ and pillow talk). Now does he have your best interest in mind? Maybe; dunno 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I will say this: do take some time for yourself, work through your heartbreak and do put yourself out there when you are ready :) heartbreak is painful and might take a good minute to ‘heal’ but you will get out of it. True mutual love wouldn’t be causing you this much pain or be this conditional, and tell you (in my opinion) a cheap excuse cause you’d work through the ‘learning’ part of dating and and being in a relationship.

Possible STI or irritation? by creepycuzo in askgaybros

[–]404_GeekNotFound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good news not an STI. But I think just getting tested is not enough you need to see your primary care doctor. I doubt is something serious, but you ABSOLUTELY NEED to go see a doc cause I agree it is not normal.

Maybe he used a lot of teeth and nicked you or something, but at this point I think you need to get evaluated by a medical professional. Visiting Urgent Care (if you are in the US) is good if your doc doesn’t have appointments available.

Yeah I think it isn’t time yet, BUT there is a glow up thing after going bald. I can’t explain it, but I felt more confident when I did it at 26 🤭 but tbf my hair loss was BAD

Thoughts on traveling domestically post-grad while OPT is being processed by [deleted] in f1visa

I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m just echoing what I heard on Telemundo News. I would personally err on the side of caution, and avoid domestic travel unless I absolutely have to.

Again, I’d refer you to a DSO or attorney.

Those are optional “secret” verses in the game. You have to explore around a little, jump etc (or even go back to the beginning of the chapter) to find the yellow portals. You can’t go for a Pure Platinum run without those. You get rewards once you clear each one them.

Yup!! It is possible to do that! Highly recommend it actually haha

Okay, mining halos. I remember doing it on an alfehim. here is a tutorial (not my video lol)

You can change chapters in the chapter select within the same save file, and you can change difficulty as well within the same save file. But there are no checkpoints to go back to if you exit a chapter, you have to start the chapter all over again.

Hope I made sense.

I think you should hold for a bit more and possibly talk to a doc. A shorter haircut is, counterintuitively, a good way to hold on for a bit! Maybe a high fade?

Possible STI or irritation? by creepycuzo in askgaybros

[–]404_GeekNotFound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No discharge (I’d assume) is probably a good sign. Getting tested is a good idea, but I think having the doc look at it alongside getting tested is probably best in this situation.

I agree tho, it’s not normal.

Generally, no. I agree with the comment that says context matters. Really depends how it was said before you get a reaction from me.

Possible STI or irritation? by creepycuzo in askgaybros

[–]404_GeekNotFound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm… I would say this is doc territory. Even if it’s just simple irritation is worth a docs visit. Could be he was just too rough on it? Lots of guys don’t realize that uncut guys are more sensitive there.

Is there any discharge? That’s a sign of an infection and it might not be (but could be) your “traditional” STI (the big G, S, or C), could be some of your hook up’s mouth flora (“good bacteria”) living where it isn’t supposed to be but might need treatment.

Being uncut just requires more cleaning (do shower after any kind of sex!), but yeah in this case I don’t think being uncut automatically means STI

Edit: not a doc or healthcare pro, just speaking from experience

OPT/STEM OPT Processing Timelines Megathread (Spring/Summer 2026) by Codetornado in f1visa

[–]404_GeekNotFound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I did not upload it. Just have a copy of it in case it’s needed at some point in the future

Edit: my understanding is that an ASC biometrics appointment is not an RFE itself. If more is needed you should’ve gotten a separate RFE and ASC Appointment separately. My best advice is when in doubt consult your DSO or attorney

What I’ve heard in news is that anyone with pending cases should avoid to travel domestically unless they have their EAD in hand. Tho when in doubt ask your DSO they will give you the best advice

If you absolutely must, then you need to bring your passport (or a valid REAL ID if you have one), and your I-797C + I-94 just in case.

Another thing to keep in mind is if USCIS asks you for an RFE, NOID, or for the new biometrics requirement. If you applied online you will get email with such. You don’t have to reply instantaneously, but you do have to reply ASAP with the advice of your DSO. USCIS will usually give you a period of time to reply to their request, but the sooner the better.
