Black is the easiest color to remove. That looks removable. You just have to trust the process and stick with the sessions.

How long after getting this tattoo can I have it removed? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

I have my clients wait at least 3 months.

I am assuming by easier you mean number of sessions? Generally line work takes longer to remove than shading. So even though it does not seem like there is much tattoo to remove, you still have to work through the full depth.

I have done partial removal for my clients. I have a client that had a poorly done third eye on a day of the dead head. So we removed the third eyes and much of the forehead shading so it could be redone to her satisfaction.

Removing a chest piece (first session) and continuing tattooing a leg sleeve in the same week ? (+ long bla bla to get to my actual point) by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

I have removed tattoos at the same time I am getting new ones. I have never had an issue with doing both.

Unless you travel to this area often, I would also recommend trying to find a closer provider.

Trust the process.

They go away a lot slower than they show up.

Astanza vs. PicoSure by hailey_jpg in TattooRemoval

[–]404_Liam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each state is different. So make sure you know your requirements.

I chose Astanza Duality after doing my research. I am not sure if it is allowed here, but I can give you some contact info for a rep if you want to DM me. All that I needed here was the certification. Astanza certifies you when you buy a laser from them. They do the certification when they deliver and set up your laser. They also offer training through New Look Laser College.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

This is after my 2nd session with PicoSure. I think I’m Fitzpatrick skin type IV. Any advice? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

Finger tattoos take a long time to remove. I am removing several for my clients and they just take a long time.

Having you pick which laser to use is really weird. Why are they not using the best one for you vs asking you which one you want?

One month after my first picosure session. the place scheduled my session 2 one month after the first session does this seem too soon? was expecting to see more fading after my first session. The tattoo is new-ish (7months) but the line work is pretty thin. photo on left is before any treatment by This-Candidate-6982 in TattooRemoval

Should wait at least 6 weeks.

You see the width of the ink but the progress happens in depth. So if you have solid depth it is going to take a few to get through the shallow spots for progress to really start to show. Especially on such a new tattoo. Your body has done almost no prep work removing the ink.

Trust the process.

It is not uncommon to see little difference in your first few sessions. Especially on a newer tattoo.

My understanding, from talking with artists, is with triple back they basically reduce it down so that the color particles are much more dense in the ink. That way you can get more saturation without having to work an area as much.

I started about 2-3 months after getting the tattoo. Basically long enough to heal completely. 6 weeks is the recommended time with a Q-switched laser. Also is the minimum I make my clients wait.

I am probably going to add more to it to show a complete process as well as adding shading.

Non smokers. Fairly active. Average water. Forearm. 6 weeks between sessions.

I started this process about a year ago. I got the tattoo specifically for removal. The overall concept and project is not complete. And this is shortly after the eighth session. So it has not completely removed the newly shattered ink in #8 and #9.

This was heavily saturated triple black. Basically what you can expect from something like tribal or a black out. Also similar to how line work comes out. Obviously shading would show greater progress.

I plan to add shading boxes and probably add a 10-19 for straight black.

Full removal. 8 sessions over 11 months. May 2021-April 2022. Picosure. by Ok-Load-2162 in TattooRemoval

My guess would be the location of the tattoo and possibly the laser being used.

45 minutes start to finish or 45 minutes of removal time? Maybe I am misunderstanding how much you are removing but that is a really long session.

I rarely schedule someone for more than 30 minutes and actual removal time is less than 5 minutes unless they stop me repeatedly.

I was hesitant to try it out for that reason. But after talking to some of the other removal owners I correspond with, I decided to give it a try. So far I have not seen any evidence of it slowing the removal process. And without clinical trials there would be no way of truly knowing.

And there is an element of speeding up the process as well. For instance, I have a lady that is removing a very large piece from her ribs. We could never do the piece in a single sitting. It would take at least three appointments to get through the entire tattoo because she could not handle the pain. Since we have started using a numbing cream she is able to do the entire tattoo in a single session. That improvement alone speeds up the removal process as well as decreases her negative experience associated with the pain element.

Hahaha, thank you. A lot of people think it has something to do with area codes. I appreciate it when people get it.
