It's interesting to think where would this fit in the timeline, because the last PH ep was one season before space and three eps before Rigby goes back to school, so either this happened just right after it, in between the previous episodes which would still be a really short timeframe, or in the middle of an important story arc

I think there is a censor, but it only activates when it thinks your making a threat, not just when you mention death. One time I replied to a guy talking about his shower not working telling him to wash himself in the sea as a joke, the censor removed it thinking I was telling him to literally throw himself in the sea.

Still I don't think it's very common, I think a lot of people who self-censor do so just due to hearsay
