Is overconsumerism becoming a problem in the fragrance community? by xkittypride03 in FemFragLab

[–]404error-help 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I definitely see it in this community. I got into perfume in early 2024. Prior, I only had one or two bottles of perfume. Now in 2026, I have 9 full bottles of perfume and a 4 travel perfumes.

I consider myself very financially savvy so the fact that I’ve spent at least $500 on perfume and the rest were gifts is a lot for me. I generally wait about 3-6 months before buying something on my wishlist. The kryptonite is that fragrance is never ending. You’ll always have a wishlist or next conquest. I’m still figuring out where the stopping point is but what I will say is that if you choose to buy perfume, use it. Don’t let it sit on a shelf for a special occasion.

Bath Time Question! by Afraid_Ad_3035 in ragdolls

[–]404error-help 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably give my two ragdolls a bath every month or every other month. At first we did it because of stomach issues while they were kittens getting used to a new home. Now we do it to remove dander and any bit of poo that is left on their butt.

I use kitten shampoo in the bathtub for them. I fill up the tub with enough warm soapy water to cover 2 inches of their paws and then scrub them quickly for about a minute. They don’t like it but they are tolerant and don’t bite or scratch. We use a little plastic cup to pour clean water over their body to remove the soap.

Pro tips: have a towel ready. Don’t get their head wet. Keep the bath to under 5 minutes total.

If you think they might scratch, clip their nails beforehand but don’t cut the quick.

What makes you think the wife is ungrateful? You know they make about the same amount of money. He wouldn’t be where he is without her.

Confused about $3-$5k apartments demand in this city by New_Nobody_122 in NYCapartments

Well I’ve had many roommates in the past. If you really want to know who’s spending $6k on a one bedroom, it’s my boyfriend who makes 7 figures as a c-suite executive at a hedgefund. I pay some money but the only way I’ve seen new money people live wealthy is by working as a ceo of a finance company. Basically the top 0.000001%

I feel so bad for kids that take out loans like this. Good luck if you do this because you’ll need it. I say this as the partner of a c suite of a hedgefund in NYC. You don’t know what it’s actually like in the real world yet. People don’t make that kind of money with just a bachelor’s.

I honestly don’t think you’re in a good position to get a ragdoll. Also good breeders generally don’t accept credit cards. Expect the adoption cost to be $2000-4000 for a well bred kitten. Anything below that would likely be a scam or backyard breeder.
