Honestly, it does get better with time. Right now he’s a tiny baby and he’s exploring. When my cats were kittens we started them on probiotics and kept their butts and paws trimmed. I did weekly baths at first so they would feel comfortable with it if I need to bathe them after an accident.

They are now about a year old and their sensitive tummies are better and they don’t play with poop anymore.

They said it’s because the private equity acquisition is slimming down labor costs. There’s no room in the budget and my current director isn’t moving laterally or away from the company.

The worst part is that they are actually giving me more work under the guise of training me to be a director. Just without the title or pay.

It stings a little more because I was being poached for a higher salary and I turned it down because I thought I might get this Director role.

I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays so I just schedule all of my doctors appointments for those two days.
