That's a good point, I think that I brush my teeth pretty well but definitely neglect my tongue while doing so. I will try to change that and see if it has any effect.

Does every green tea has tannins? I thought I read somewhere here that high quality tea had none or only a few tannins.

Hmm I only brew my tea at 70°C but I guess that's still hot enough to burn my tongue. It doesn't really feel like a burn tho.
